go or way
Absolutely terrible experience. I paid around $53 for this, and it didn't work properly for me. Naturally, I contacted the owner/support because I needed help getting something I PAID FOR to actually work. His brilliant solution? “Okay then figure it out yourself. Pretty simple.” What an absolutely genius way to run a business. Make a website, sell people products for games, happily take their money, and when something doesn't work and they need help, basically tell them to go fix it themselves. Why even offer support at that point? If I knew how to fix the problem myself, I WOULDN'T BE CONTACTING YOU. I'm not technically skilled enough to diagnose and fix this myself. That's the entire reason I'm asking the person who SOLD IT TO ME for help. But apparently once the money hits his account, you're expected to magically become your own technician. Then because I got angry and started calling out how ridiculous the situation was, suddenly THAT became the main problem. He wrote things along the lines of: “I'm not talking with someone that can't show an ounce of respect.” “Everyone that can talk respectfully gets help.” “The only thing you do is shittalking, so you get ignored. Pretty simple.” The irony is actually incredible. You want customers to show you perfect respect while you're telling a paying customer to “figure it out yourself” because something YOU SOLD THEM isn't working? Respect goes both ways. And yes, I got pissed off. I'm not going to pretend I spoke like some corporate customer-service robot while watching roughly $100 disappear on something that wasn't working for me, while the person who took my money couldn't seem to care less about actually solving it. You don't get to provide terrible support, dismiss someone's problem, refuse to properly resolve it, and then hide behind “you weren't respectful” the second the customer gets angry. Maybe ask yourself WHY the customer became angry in the first place. The whole attitude honestly comes across like someone who had the brilliant idea of making a website and selling gaming products but somehow forgot the tiny detail that running a business also involves HELPING THE PEOPLE WHO PAY YOU. Taking the payment seems to work perfectly. Support? Apparently that's where things become complicated. I wasn't asking for free stuff. I wasn't asking him to spend his entire day helping me. I wanted the thing I paid for to work, or for him to actually help me fix it. When I couldn't fix it myself, I wanted a reasonable solution regarding my money. Instead: “figure it out yourself.” Amazing customer service. After this happened, I started reading the negative reviews and found other customers making complaints about poor support, refunds, warranty issues and products/firmware allegedly not working or being detected. One reviewer describes paying $300 and then allegedly being asked for another $400 for a different solution after experiencing problems. Those are THEIR claims and experiences, not mine. People can read those reviews themselves and make up their own minds. MY experience is very simple: I spent around $100. It didn't work properly for me. I asked for help. I was basically told to figure it out myself. I couldn't fix it myself. I didn't get my money back. I got angry. Then I got ignored. And somehow I'm supposed to walk away thinking that's acceptable because I didn't speak “respectfully” enough after all of that? If you're mature enough to run a business and take people's money, you should be mature enough to deal with an unhappy customer when something goes wrong. Customer support isn't “figure it out yourself.” I seriously regret spending my money here. Before buying anything, read the negative reviews as well as the positive ones and pay particular attention to people's experiences AFTER something goes wrong. Taking your money is the easy part. How a business treats you after they've already been paid tells you a lot more.
