The supposedly,"Triple-Checked," documents had spelling errors and read like a third grader prepared them. Complete and utter rip-off, I will probably contest the purchase with my credit card company since Squabble did NOT deliver the quality of paperwork that was promised. Unbelievable. UPDATE: In regards to the reply from Squabble: I disagree that a spelling error on one word (where most of the form is a prewritten template that you guys essentially just fill in a few blanks with the customer's information) is only a, "minor," oversight! Particularly because one of your selling points claims that each letter is, "triple-checked!" Also, you guys never 'fixed' anything for me! My letter remains misspelled. You replied that your team had, "fixed your algorithms," in your response to my email complaint, which is absolutely of no use to me. I also didn't care for the fact that you used your own demand letter as a chance to promote your brand by automatically claiming that Squabble would be handling any related future court filings. In other words, I DID NOT use your expensive self-advertisement as a demand letter. I compiled my own, citing specific components of state legislation that pertained to my issue. I received a prompt reply with updated account charges completely wiped with the promise of a full refund, tracking number to be provided soon. If they dont make good on their word, I'm confident that I can manage to file on my own. I plan on submitting the low-effort demand letter as evidence to my credit card company to get them to reverse the $65 charge, as you failed to provide the level of service that was promised.

Sara, We did make a mistake in the word Deposit that was spelled "Desposit". We fixed it for you right away. We apologize for that oversight. if there is anything else we can help you with on your case please let our team know! We feel like we made a minor mistake and feel like we did more than 1 star of service. Regardless, we are here for you in the coming weeks and would love to know if your demand letter and court paperwork helped you to settle your case without having to file in court. If you do end up needing help filing in court and serving the defendant we are here for you on that as well and ready to provide you with 5-star service!

On September 19, Squabble emailed me the following: "We have hired an official third-party process server and attempts at service are ongoing." Despite taking my money, Squabble never served the defendant (a registered agent with an office and staff working inside the office from Monday to Friday). After a month, I paid a process server to do Squabble's job for them. I got the defendant served after one business day. On October 18, Squabble finally replied (via this site - not through their "customer service" email) that the Tarrant County sheriff's office was supposed to serve the defendant -- totally contradictory to what Squabble told me a month ago. Also: Squabble did not even realize the defendant's agent was in Austin, TX (thus outside of Tarrant County, TX jurisdiction). Unfortunately, the only way to communicate with Squabble after the sale is via Trustpilot. They don't reply to customer support emails.

John, I have been in contact with our case review team all day. I am waiting to hear back on the second attempt of service of process (as you indicated). If there was an issue on our end we will make sure to make things right. I will be in touch hopefully tomorrow. Thanks for the insight and we will get your case against American Airlines set straight!

Sean, Your claim against Google was filed, served to the defendant's registered agent and accepted by the court in about 2 weeks total time. The court accepted the case and assigned you a court date, time and location. You provided little information here, so I assume your case must not have gone the way you hoped. If there is any particular feedback you can share with us it would be very helpful.

No communication, no action, no help and NO RESULTS!

Jonathan, You submitted your case to us on January 30th. Your case paperwork was prepared on Feb 5th and once it was reviewed by our team it was filed and accepted by the court on Feb 8th and you were assigned a case number with the court. It looks like there may have been an issue with serving the defendant. In your court jurisdiction they do not provide a court date/time until the defendant has been served and the courts do not communicate directly with us in this case, as we file the court paperwork on your behalf and all court communications happen by physical mail from the court directly to you at that point. If you have any feedback you can provide us about your court filed and accepted case or any experiences you had with your local court itself that might be helpful for us to know - please let us know!

could not serve the person i was suing in small claims court and could not get in touch with anyone at squabble to discuss

Elizabeth, You submitted your case to us on March 1st. Your case paperwork was prepared on March 2nd and once it was reviewed by our team it was filed and accepted by the court on March 3rd and you were assigned a case number with the court. We immediately submitted your order for service of process on March 3rd. Service was attempted 4 times between that order on March 3rd until the final attempt in April. Unfortunately, if the defendant cannot be located our process server will not be able to complete the service of process. In your jurisdiction the local court does not assign a court date and time until service of process is completed. The reason is because there are cases where the defendant simply cannot be found. The only remedy to this is to continue to hire process servers which can become more costly. You can also arrange attempts to serve the defendant by your own means. This would involve asking any third party other than yourself to try to locate, serve the paperwork and complete the necessary court affidavit. Unfortunately, this is just one of the complexities of filing a case. Statistically, there is a 50% chance of successfully (and properly) serving a defendant yourself. By using a professional service of process company those chances increase to nearly 80% on average. Some defendants just don't want to be served and will do anything to avoid it. In other cases the defendant has simply relocated which would require you to come up with more creative means to try to locate them first. We are sorry the defendant in your case could not be located.
