So, far, one start is too much for this company. If I had my ways I would rate with coal, or dirt. To begin with, I di not choose this company. My mortgage was transferred to them and I had no saying whatsoever. I did not get anything from them at all before the mortgage was transferred. I had to go fetch information on how to look up my mortgage online. Today (October 2-2026) I still have not received a statement for September-2026 - month that I paid - or October. Today I received a call from them asking me if I was going to pay. I said yes! I will pay. But I will pay through my bank as they charge an extra $5 (FIVE DOLLARS) when you pay through their website. I called back asking for where I could find my statements and I was told they have not been generated. So I paid September, they are asking for October's payment, and I was told it may be generated October 15. WHAT! I do not understand. At any rate, this is a poorly run company. The only good thing I can say is that all three people I talked to today there had great demeanor and great voices.

Rude and abusive phone representative. SPS holds on to escrow money as long as possible. There is no law or regulation about how long SPS can hold insurance claim funds. Based on this, I would be concerned that SPS is teetering on bankruptcy and possibly unable to meet its financial obligations. Our insurance claim was paid out September 14, 2026. We were told it could take up to 90 days or more for the balance of the insurance claim to be paid to us. We don't know why they are slow-walking the payout other than a lack of availability of funds on their end.

SPS customer service representative this morning was simply awful 😖. She might know what she is doing but she was loud, harsh, abrasive, highly impatient with zero compassion. She failed to answer questions asked as she quickly moved on,yet still she wanted a yes or no answer to unexplained statements asked. I pray all went well with my business transaction with SPS. That SPS representative is not one that should talk to customers.

Terrible company with a terrible portal terrible customer service. I tried to receive help on a payment that wasn't reflecting with my new loan company (I was trying to retrieve the payment history, so that I can provide it to the new company). Day 1, the woman says that she has uploaded the document to my portal and it can take an hour. Day 2, it's not there. I try to request it through the portal, but of course it's not working and throws an error. so I call and explain the whole situation again. She told me I should file a dispute with the new company. She obviously didn't listen, because after I ask more questions, she keeps changing her answer. Suddenly, it'll be fine, because it'll take 1 month to reflect. She basically hung up on me as well. SPS should go out of business.

I am giving 1 star because it's not possible to give ZERO. A Terrible service provider. I don't recommend SPS to anyone in life. In my case, Cross Country sold my mortgage for them, I had no choice. Don't even try them, horrible company.

Horrible company to work with, horrible customer service, consistently a problem with them. This is the second time my mortgage has been sold to them and I cannot tell you how frustrating they are to work with. Locked out of my account, reset password and then they tell me password is invalid, stuff like this happens consistently with them and all I want to do is pay my mortgage on time and they make it so difficult to do so.

SPS has STOLEN $4709.39 from my escrow account and then SOLD my mortgage to Shellpoint. SPS cannot find my money, cannot prove they made a escrow payment even though they took the funds from my escrow to make a tax payment that was paid a month PRIOR by my TITLE Company. I reported this to them on July 6th and have made many calls trying to track down my $4709.39. SPS even sent me paperwork showing they made the tax payment, then the tax payment being refunded to them, then the tax payment being "Disbursed to SERVICER" LOL that's like saying I paid the guy. What a joke this company is. They basically STOLE my $4709.39. You do that to enough mortgages and then collect interest as it sits in your account for a month, could be quite profitable. SPS is a thief.
