Hi Ken, we have reached out by email, but in case you missed it- We apologize for any concern, but that does happen sometimes. We use a heat seal to adhere the inner seal, no glue is used in case the glue could get into the product. It often happens that the inner seal is lifted when the lid is removed. The seal is there to make sure that the product stays in place in transit, but it is not required for the safety of the product. I have actually seen quite a few times where the entire seal gets stuck in the lid of the container when the lid is removed! If you are uncomfortable using the product, would be more than happy to send you a replacement. Please just let us know the lot # and best-by date on the jar you are concerned about. If you haven't already, we would recommend stopping for a few days and then slowly reintroduce it. Start off with a small fraction of the dose and go from there, and if they don't want to take it in that dose, scale back and start with an even smaller dose. You may want to mix in a preferred treat as well, such as canned dog food, gravy, or yogurt to help the get back on track. If for some reason, your dogs still are not a fan, you are more than welcome to return your unopened containers within 60 days of your order for a refund!
