Do not purchase anything from them Used to be a respectable place to do…
Used to be a respectable place to do business, NOT ANY MORE!!! I bought over 7 perennial shrubs from them between January and March of 2023, and none of them are showing any signs of growth. Called and basically told, "too bad". No, refund and no available replacement. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM!!

Waited 45 Days for a Tree They Over Sold
I placed an order 3/31/23. The item was in stock at the time. I checked back a few weeks later and noticed the item was out of stock. I called in a few weeks after that to check when it would be delivered and was told mid-May. Today I got a refund notice for the tree -- NO EXPLANATION. I waited 45 days for a tree they over sold. I will never buy from this business again. Very poor business practices.

Cancelled an order with no notification, no response from customer service
Placed an order for product that showed as in stock. Several days later i went to check on the order status and discovered it had been cancelled without notice. I did receive an email notification 8 days after they cancelled it!
I would not shop here.

Gave them a chance- what a disappointment!
Ordered 2 Blue Zebra Primroses. One is STILL ONLY ONE LEAF, the other is looking slightly better. I potted these up on March 27th. (They looked too weak to put directly into the ground.)
Ordered three Lenten Roses. They came in better condition than the Primroses, but are still looking a little shaky. I paid $80 for something I could've gotten cheaper and in better condition by buying from a nursery. Lesson learned.
If you love plants and don't want to be disappointed, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
Update- 5-28-23
The primrose that looked ok when I got it lived, after much TLC. The one that was only one leaf died.
The three Lenten roses all survived, and are now planted in my beds.
I also ordered a Vialii primrose. Its shipping date has been pushed back twice. Since 3-27. It will "ship by 6-15". I'd ask for a refund, but I want zero to do with this company now.
Update- 7-31-23
Vialii primrose order was canceled by the company. The blue Zebra Primrose I was able to plant is not looking good, but I'll give it a chance to see what it does next Spring. The Lenten roses are looking decent. Again, Spring will tell the tale.

I wish I had read these customer…
I wish I had read these customer reviews before I placed an order. All plants arrived in damaged, or dead, condition.
Buy from your local dealer -- you will save money and get healthier plants,

I suspect there IS no actual 'nursery'...just a place that buys up and re-sells plants
I ordered a Clematis plant from them. It arrived in horrible shape...totally dead. I called them for a replacement. I think it took about 4 weeks to be shipped to me. Next plant, while not totally dead, did not look good At All. When I called them, they told me to nonetheless plant it, and then give it an entire 8 weeks. After 8 weeks, 'Nothing'. The plant never revived. Not one leaf appeared.
So I called them again and said I wanted a full refund. The rep on the line (and BTW I should say that there is clearly no 'Spring Hill Nursery'....god only knows where these plants come from and the reps all sounded like they were in India, if I recall...)....the rep on the line tried to offer me a 'Credit' with Spring Hill. Um, no. Why on earth would I want a 'credit' with such a company? I told her I wanted a refund to my credit card. She replied 'hold on....let me see what I can do.' To which, I'm thinking, 'oh, she better not Even try to tell me that I can only get a credit....do they have any idea who they are playing with?' ;-)
So I wait. And then she comes back with 'OK, as a One-Time Exception...' and I'm thinking 'one-time exception'?? Please. If they hadn't given me a full refund, I would have immediately filed a report with the BBB and also told my bank that the original charge should be reversed. I use the line that 'goods and services I paid for were NOT provided'.
When it comes to sleazy companies like this, especially when you either can't get a hold of anyone in customer service, and/or they don't want to give you your money back, I will do Whatever it takes, even if I have to sorta lie a bit. Anything to get the company's attention and action. I mean, companies leave us Little Choice, especially when so many companies now provide NO customer service...just endless FAQs or copy/paste BOT email responses, or 'chats' with BOTs, etc.
We customers have more power than we realize. Don't let such companies push you around! ;--)
If you paid for a product or a service, and you then have a problem with that product or service, and then when you try to contact the company to resolve the issue, you are getting no customer support from them, then that (IMHO) constitutes fraud. You did 'not receive the goods and/or services for which you paid'. Because part of purchasing a product or service includes your being satisfied...that you received what you thought you should, and based upon what you paid. Part of that includes Customer Service. If you don't get Customer Service, then you didn't get everything you paid for.

Spring Hill Nurseries is a RIPOFF!!!
Spring Hill Nurseries is a RIPOFF!
I placed an order this spring, on 03/14/22 for $55.55 and the main reason for my purchase was this item "CLEMATIS AMARANTHINE #77070” which was not shipped until July 6th, nearly four months later!
Then, the item was shipped on 7/6 and was not delivered until 7/14, 8 days later! When I opened the box, I found a wilted plant and dead leaves in the bottom of the box.
I hoped that the plant may come back to life, but a week later, it is still as dead as when it arrived.
This whole order was a complete disaster. I received a dead stick. I sent a request to Spring hill to please send me a refund. Spring Hill responded by saying they do NOT offer refunds, even when the issue is a direct result of their negligence: “It is disappointing when the plant does not make it and I can understand that. Unfortunately, the item is not available for a replacement. Also, I am unable to issue a refund as per the company policy.”
Do NOT do business with Spring Hill and their deceitful business practices. They will take your money, charge your credit card, then not deliver the ordered product, and will NOT refund your money. They are a RIPOFF!
