Springboard has been a great experience so far! I signed up for a 6 month boot camp while working a full time job. A few months in, life got in the way of my plan and I needed to explore options of putting my program on hold or extending. Springboard advisors have been able to accommodate me whenever I have needed help extending my program in a way that was fair and clear. I am now approaching the end of my boot camp and feel confident that I can apply the skills that I’ve learned to real world situations. I am thankful they worked with me and my situation and I could complete my boot camp without added stress. The content I’ve been learning is up to date with the industry and is presented in an digestible and engaging way. I would recommend Springboard to anyone looking for a career change or adding a new skill set that needs the flexibility of an online curriculum.

It did not work for me. The water pump dataset was not appealing at all. The time estimation on the 6 first chapters was not accurate. I started paying my student loan before even finishing the class. The explanation in the videos was not always clear and you only have 30min with your coach. The only star that I give to this class is for my coach:very nice, very professional and knowledgeable guy.

Overall it's a good program, but the curriculum and assignments can get really confusing. Many assignments are poorly created by Springboard and will cause you to get annoyed and frustrated. I'm still happy to be taking this program and I encourage anyone to take it if they want a boost in their career, but be prepared for lots of frustration and confusion when doing assignments and quizzes

Awesome experience. The curriculum is well thought out and help is available most of the time. The selling point of this program is the mentors and I find my relationship with my mentor to be invaluable, he is very knowledgable and super patient with me gives great feedback, and constantly pushing me towards improving the quality of my work which is exactly what I need. There's an active slack community of students and great weekly office hours that cover various topics which I find to be very good. Student advisors are fantastic and very proactive.

I recommend Springboard's UX Design Career Track because of the project-based curriculum, along with the abundance of resources that are provided along the way. While in the Career Track, your assigned mentor and other mentors within the program will provide great value as you try to understand best practices and industry standards. I couldn't imagine learning everything on my own, so it's been an incredible experience to learn about design as a whole and understand what is expected for anyone who is trying to break into the industry.

Springboard has been a very strong driving force in overcoming the uncertainties and anxiety stemming from a career change for me. They have provided a myriad of resources, support, and opportunities for me to effectively learn in my chosen learning style. They are very much intentional in catering to the needs of any learning style and ensuring I am retaining knowledge I need to be successful in my new career field.

I enjoyed the curated course and the mentor support. I was matched with a mentor who could recognize my skills and provided me great feedback. The course was challenging and yet mightily rewarding. The Springboard community, with the forums and office hours, were always a reliable resource. The only thing I had an issue with was the Deep Learning track. It is not detailed enough and there were no mini projects. Learning from curated videos is hard, but it's especially hard when the subject is deep learning. I had to resort to other resources to get understand many concepts in the deep learning track.

I chose Springboard because I wanted to deepen my coding skills while continuing to work full-time. Its self-paced curriculum has been the perfect option for me and I have learned an immense amount so far!
