The best platform yet
It's not perfect, but no social media platform is. What Spoutible offers, that Twitter never did and Bluesky or Threads never will by design, is a genuine attempt to remove trolls and bad-faith actors from the equation.

Once you come, you will stay!
Easy to enjoy once you learn the differences between it and the other social platforms. I particularly love the hands on feeling from the actual developer himself. It shows us how much it actually means to him to offer a safe, healthy alternative to the toxicity festering among competing social media platforms. I call it home!

Spoutible: What Social Media should be
Joined early on. The site runs well. Its very feature rich and the lack of bots and trolls is an awakening to what social media can be. Like all social media, your experience varies with whom you follow and interact. If your idea of fun is trolling and baiting others you won't last long. Wheaton's Rule in full effect.

Great folks -- but limited communities
I have been on the platform since launch and have found great folks and interesting content -- but despite repeated requests to help expand to include communities such as women's sports and other more niche areas that have grown well on Twitter, there is no momentum or help in making that happen. On that basis, I do what I can, but it is not my alternative to Twitter as it is rare for folks to ever interact with content beyond politics and related issues.

Spoutible protects users
Spoutible protects users from bots, troll, bigots and misogynists. Its the only site that does this. Other sites claim to do so, but do not. Also, the edit button is damn great. The community engagement is real and spectacular. Its welcoming, but not a doormat, just the right balance

I enjoy spending time on Spoutible
I enjoy spending time on Spoutible. Spoutible is a relatively new (2023) social media site with robust and diverse user engagement. Spoutible shines by maintaining unobtrusive guardrails to minimize trolling and harassment. This has become increasingly important as the legacy bird site becomes more unstable and increasingly negative. Spoutible offers a robust and growing list of features that, at least for me, make social media fun again. Strongly recommend giving Spoutible a try.
