We joined Spacebase in connection with their AWS credit scheme, and unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing. Before joining, we explicitly told Spacebase that we already had AWS credit. Despite this, they did not clearly explain that joining their AWS organisation could result in our existing credit being consumed. After joining, the little credit we had was effectively swallowed up by their setup. When we raised this with them, we were initially told that they could not refund the credit. We were then told that Spacebase does not control how the credit works and that it ultimately depends on AWS Support/the service provider. Despite several discussions, the issue was never properly resolved. What made the situation even worse was what happened afterwards. We were told that we would remain part of the AWS organisation and that Spacebase would pay the bills. Based on that understanding, we continued operating under the organisation. However, Spacebase subsequently kicked us out of the organisation. We did not leave voluntarily. We were removed despite having previously been told that we would remain part of the organisation and that the bills would be covered. This left us in a very difficult position and created unnecessary disruption to our workloads and infrastructure. Our biggest concern is the lack of transparency and the inconsistency in communication. We disclosed our existing AWS credit before joining and should have been clearly informed about what would happen to it. Then, after being told that we would remain in the organisation with our bills covered, we were ultimately removed anyway. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience. We expected much clearer communication, transparency, and support from a company offering an AWS credit scheme. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend getting very clear written confirmation of how existing AWS credits, billing, and organisation membership will be handled before joining.

I started an application for AWS credits with Spendbase in mid-March 2026. Initially, the process felt promising, but it quickly became a frustrating, months-long experience. After submitting the initial requirements and being handed over to an "AWS Case Manager," the communication became extremely sporadic. Despite multiple follow-ups sent from May through August, I have been met with silence. I provided everything asked of me, but the process stalled entirely with zero updates or progress. It feels like a bait-and-switch regarding their "streamlined" onboarding process. If you're looking for efficiency, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. Very disappointed with the lack of professional communication and follow-through.

My experience with Spendbase was positive until I actually started using the account. Unfortunately, once I began operating with it, I discovered that customer support is practically non-existent. They ignore messages sent through their support channels, do not respond to emails, and none of the phone numbers provided seem to work or connect to a real person. I have been trying to contact them for more than 10 days regarding an issue, without receiving a single meaningful response. For a company handling business finances, this level of support is simply unacceptable. If everything works perfectly, you may never notice the problem. However, if you need assistance, be prepared for a very frustrating experience. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Spendbase unless you are willing to add unnecessary stress and problems to your business operations.

Unfortunately, they don't provide the full information before the call and then sell you their services with 25% commissions.

Absolutely terrible. No support and no response.

I can’t even begin to explain how horrible my experience with Spendbase has been. There is no phone number, live chat ignores every single message, and my account manager doesn’t reply to emails at all. I deposited €515 on Dec 16, and since then it has been one disaster after another. I can’t get their virtual card, despite sending video recordings showing the problem. Transfers kept getting rejected, and now the ones that supposedly went through never reached the recipients. When I call the receiving banks, they say they never received anything. It feels like my money just vanished into thin air, and nobody from Spendbase gives a damn. I’ve been trying for 15 days straight, constantly ignored, no updates, nothing. If you get stuck anywhere, you’re on your own. This is not a service, it’s a nightmare. I used this service for over a month, and my business and time have been completely wasted. Their support is non-existent, and their system is broken beyond repair. I would never recommend Spendbase to anyone. Avoid it unless you want to lose money, waste time, and get ignored.
