I'm an autistic year 9 student moving to year 10 in September. I've been using Sparx since year 7 and can effectively say that this is the worst online homework site I have ever used. The wordings of questions make little to no sense at times and the videos are rarely if ever helpful, Sparx doesn't provide any engaging method of learning (for me at least) and honestly might be why I'm getting worse in maths, I'm incapable of understanding the questions which has lead to me being close to meltdowns on numerous occasions. I'm unsure if this is just a teacher thing but the topics often consist of areas we haven't yet learnt in our lessons, and we're expected to complete all these questions correctly with little to no help involved. Sparx is a pathetic excuse of a homework site and I'll never understand why any governments or schools decided that this would be what we should be doing our homework on.

Seriously? You don’t get videos like on sparx maths. I get it, you get clues but on certain questions there are steps and even if I read them carefully I can’t get them right there is NOT enough help I wish this website was removed

living hell. We have to use this for school and it is physically living hell. I have to do this weekly and it takes at least 3 hours out of my week, it takes too long and it is my 13th reason. I don’t learn anything, i just use AI tools because I physically don’t have the time to spend 4-5 hours on maths homework. I hope the person who made Sparx Maths realises they have made a countless number of students relationship with maths horrible. I used to enjoy maths, but this has ruined it for me. I hate it so much, stupid stupid idea, I can’t wait until I don’t have to do it any more. I’d give it 0 stars if I could, but that’s not possible.

THIS APP IS DIABOLICAL I hate it sm it’s not even funny…sometime it marks an answer wrong and when I put the exact same answer in it marks it correct….

I absolutely hate this app. It doesn’t even help with my learning it just makes me cry to even think about doing it and when I do it I just forget about it after anyways. It’s stupid especially the book work checks like how is that supposed to improve my knowledge?! Whenever I do my sparx I loose my spark so I don’t get the point in even calling it sparx. It takes AGES to do the reading aswell especially if you struggle to remember the little things then it makes you do more work and it doesn’t let you go back unless you have to redo it but it gives you less sp so you have to do more. I HATE this with all my heart and I hope this app gets deleted and everyone will be happy because they have less stress and they don’t have to worry about thanking to do this every week 3x 😊

Frustrating error messages pop up at the least convenient moments, making it feel like Sparx Maths is actively working against educational progress rather than supporting it. This app is absolutely hell. If you want to have an early trip to the afterlife, pls use this to your hearts content! If you hate your students, pls allow them to continue using sparx. This app not only opens a new gateway to absolute terror and tears, but only robs your childhood and throws more trauma into your pile. The bookwork checks are dumb, just like the questions, and the creator of this app. I hope this app gets deleted because it deserves to be non-existent. Sparx makes you lose your spark.
