It’s the digital equivalent of Sisyphus pushing a boulder up a hill, only to have it roll back down with every incorrectly inputted answer. The system demands absolute precision—one typo, one misclick, and you’re doomed to redo an entire question set that you barely survived the first time. Its insistence on mandatory questions ensures that you cannot escape, no matter how many tears you shed or how much you bargain with the void. The “independent learning” aspect is less about learning and more about brute-forcing your way through numbers until the software is satisfied with your suffering. I used to have parents. Now, I have only Sparx. They saw me trapped in an endless loop of trying to prove I understood a concept while the system rejected my every effort. Eventually, they walked out the door, whispering, “We’ll be back once you finish your compulsory questions.” That was years ago. If you want a system that teaches resilience through suffering, Sparx Maths is perfect. Otherwise, it may be the reason you, too, end up abandoned. Rating: 1/5 (but only because I can’t submit 0/5, much like how I can’t submit an unfinished Sparx question).

terrible, my school uses sparx for maths homework. i was doing my homework and a question came up saying "4x12=" and i accidently typed 45 instead of 48 and it made me spend 2 minutes just to correct myself. i hate sparx

Sparx maths i bad here is why It is so incredibly draining and can you imagine our younger generation have to endure hours of this per week? It is not right and any schools ect should not be introducing this program. As for the app itself it is buggy and broken. Just don't use sparx maths.

Why. Just why is sparx maths a thing.... ill explain. 1. Bookwork checks Buddy. yall acting like i dont know even tho i dont give a absolute damn about these bookwork checks, if i get the answer right thats IT. why try and get the same exact answer just for a small increase in this bookwork progress bar.. just useless. 2. Diff Questions Why do we always get a different question each time we fail 3 attempts at the same question?!?!?!??!?!??!?!!? just so damn annoying. like buddy, just give us infinite chances at this point unless you want us students (except for me at my school) to fail our classes..?! The only thing keeping me joy on this website is the "inspect" feature where u can edit any script or text, but not images. for example i change my name to "freddy fazbear" and the XP to "-69" and it makes me laugh just for a second, devs of sparx-maths, if u remove the inspect feature for your website, i will fricking sue you when i get the chance. Just remove these features OR just delete the website itself. We dont want this much stress -_-

PLEASE READ ITS WORTH WHILE: SPARX IS A DISASTER SparxScience is hands down the worst educational platform ever created. The assignments feel like cruel and unusual punishment. WHY do we have to do unnecessary bookwork? They expect students to write down answers in a notebook and then check them as if remembering every single response is realistic. I’M ALREADY ON QUESTION 15, HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO REMEMBER WHAT I WROTE FOR QUESTION 1? And let’s talk about the bookwork check. If you get a question wrong in the verification, they accuse you of CHEATING. Like, excuse me? Maybe I just made a mistake? Maybe, just maybe, I don’t have a photographic memory of what I scribbled down? Instead of helping students learn, this system punishes them for the smallest mistakes. The time-wasting is unreal. Students are forced to copy down ridiculously easy questions, as if writing “2+2=4” on paper is a crucial life skill. What’s the point? And if teachers are trying to go digital, why are we still wasting paper? GLOBAL WARMING IS A THING, and yet Sparx’s biggest concern is whether or not I jotted down a pointless equation in a notebook. Priorities, people. In conclusion, SparxScience is a nightmare. It frustrates students, wastes time, and completely misses the point of online learning. If teachers truly care about education, they should ditch this awful system and go back to traditional homework—because honestly, anything is better than this.
