such a bad app and some parts are inaccurate and it sucks, this website is a mistake

This is flipping torture, even as a top student at my school, I have to agree this is actually so shitty, I put the right answer in +10 times and it would let me move onto the next question, also given that we never learnt anything sparx is giving my class, time consuming and frustrating, this is a giant piece of slop

I HATE sparx science. It is painful. I dread every second of having to do it. Like what do you mean I have to redo the question a million times to get it right. In what world will that make me understand more. Furthermore, everytime I open the web page I feel like I’m losing brain cells and IQ. I hate this website so much and trust me it’s not because it’s homework I genuinely enjoy doing some of my homework even for subjects I don’t like but sparx science feels like such a chore and takes AGES to complete.

The AI is extremely stupid and will mark correct answers incorrect, for example I wrote that osmosis is the movement of water from a dilute solution to a more concentrated one. It said it was wrong and said "water moving from a dilute solution to a more concentrated solution is called osmosis. As well as this when you actually need help it will tell you barely anything related to the question and leave you with more questions.

Im genuinely not a looser who spams 1 star reviews to sparx just bc im stupid but as someone whos actually pretty good at science, THIS IS SO SHIT!!! It cant mark any of the maths related questions, its hopeless trying to do a 3 marker since it fails u no matter what, it only has two modes (super easy and super hard) so when you do slightly well then it randomly bumps up the difficulty to the point that you cant solve anything. I might actually start taking a 30 every day just to avoid typing sparx science onto my browser its awful. Sparx math is annoying but at least its actually helpful this is just pure nonsense. It takes hours for literally no reason, words questions horribly and overall is just so useless it hurts. i feel bad for these newgen kids who have to do it for the next 5 years.

I wish I could give it 0 stars but honestly this is the worst site I have ever been on. I really annoys me by it I get one question wrong it makes me to like 10 more, I DONT RECOMEND THIS AT ALL. I cry like every time I have to do homework on this site. Don’t use it. DONT USE ITTT

I frankly never expected a company to make school even worse. I’m supposed to be on my GCSE year! Instead of engaging me or you know giving me time to revise I get set this. Not being funny it takes a hour if not more and the flash cards make me feel depressed. Shame on Sparx Science if I fail my exams it’s all down to Sparx science taking up my time. Making me despise silence and making me get overly stressed on a weekend. Which you know your supposed to relax on.

The learning efficiency of Sparx science is poor and I am surprised teachers force students to spend hours of their time battling with this horrific learning algorithm. I get practically the same question -- sometimes only a grammatical difference in wording -- times over after getting it right, without spacing. The platform is quite buggy, including multiple cases of completely wrong questions e.g. asks for odd one out but the actual answer is one not present in the initial set of given options. To be honest, Sparx maths is better as I at least get some more challenging questions, although both suffer a sometimes huge deviance in weekly workload. Nevertheless, I could see why this could introduce people to the basics and have some potential in terms of adaptive homework, but I just see so many problems with both of these. A site should not be eroding teacher-student relationship if it's not yet a viable partner for the student. And maybe science shouldn't be packaged as something conveyed in soulless AI flashcards.
