I have just starting using the Spanish Memory Bridge and can already see how this is different to other methods. I have been learning for just over two years and needed something to push me to the next level and to enable me to actually converse and use all my "book" knowledge. I think this may be my answer.

I am 68 yrs old and have moved to México 4 yrs ago and still cannot carry on a conversation. I had taken 2 semesters of Spanish in college and didn’t learn a thing. Several months before leaving I decided to get a head start on my Spanish and used Duolingo. I learned nouns but not what I was looking for. I wanted some way to connect the written and speaking together and found this app not only does that but strengthens it as well. I tried a tutor—got a long list of verbs I was supposed to conjugate in writing—that was not what I was looking for either and was very expensive. Then I tried Jumpspeak. It went so fast I didn’t even have a chance and used words I didn’t even know without explanation. So I was ready to give up.Then I scrolled across Spanish memory bridge and thought ok I’ll try it but that’s it. My mind was spinning with all the apps you could select from and yes, I went completely through 20 of them to try to find the one that was right for me and my style of learning. I came across Spanish memory bridge. It really fit my style of learning. I started out with sentences! Not only that, they explained what the words actually meant by Spanish speakers. It just made sense I kid you not. Then to strengthen what you learned from the videos, there were quick written worksheets. It doesn’t have AI but I found this app to be just as good or better without it. The videos are awesome and easy to understand in a more in depth way. You are the one responsible for repeating short sentences that you learned from the videos to begin to connect your brain with the written and video. This completely covers all areas to learn and keep it. I hope you try at least the first 3 lessons and see for yourself.

I have used other language programs with moderate success. Spanish Memory Bridge has helped me enormously by connecting English and Spanish words in a way that makes sense, taking my vocabulary to a new level.

I like the encouraging voices. And the reassuring way that I’m made to feel that I already know some words in the language, albeit with slightly different spelling and pronunciation. Paul

I’m genuinely enjoying the course so far but I do have some feedback that I hope helps improve the experience for others coming after me… Watching from my phone makes it tricky to pause and replay as I have to zoom in to read the words and then back out again to pause/replay. Learning via my laptop certainly gets around this tiny issue☺️ The other thing that is the first two lessons are focused on super basics that many of us already probably know - I would have preferred more in those first lessons. But apart from that estoy aprendiendo espanol!! Nos vemos!

I have just started this program, but have already started to gain confidence in how I converse! This approach is practical and efficient! Highly recommend giving it a try!

Excellent material, great communication. The approach is something I've known about through other learning-about-learning courses but was never clearly stated the way this method does. The Spanish Memory Bridge takes you step-by-step through the process (something missing from those other courses). The initial course focuses on listening comprehension using a method that makes it much easier to keep up with what's being said. I look forward to continuing my Spanish learning journey with Daniel's Spanish Memory Bridge approach.
