Data phishing, no~reply communications and cold calls
Spa Medica was recommended to me by Vision Express. They first sent me an appointment on a no~reply email, for a time early in the day that I cannot reach by public transport. Then they sent me three emils to enter my data, but every time I filled out the long form, it failed to connect at the end. I then phoned them and said that I wanted to cancel the appointment and did not want their service, and the person I spoke to said that it was done. A couple of days later they phoned me again to offer me an appointment. When I said that i did not want it, they asked me for my personal details and said they couldn't cancel my appointment without me giving them all my data. I said that I do not have a relationship with their company and to please stop contacting me. A few days later they sent a robot to phone me on a no~reply call, to tell me that they are going to reschedule my appointment (that I have already told them that I do not want). I tried to phone them directly but the phone number online is not functional. Eventually I got through on another number but it was a robot again. I left a message asking them to stop contacting me. This company uses an automated system that does not work, and then it harrassed me to comply with what they wanted without giving me the means to respond. This shows utter contempt for their customers and I will never use a company that uses such tactics. In fact I will avoid any company that uses no~reply communications. The only reason for them is to try to control the lives of customers without allowing them to respond, and to put people out of work. The whole thing could have been dealt with quickly by hiring a human to answer the phone. Instead customers have to waste time dealing with their inefficient systems.
