An employee named Mary Dawson who works for South Star Publishing Co. called me several times on the phone. After we conferred about my books which are very diverse, Ms. Dawson said she felt very strongly about wanting to help with publishing my books which, she said, "...have tremendous potential...". Then she said I could stay at her place while my books were being 'reviewed' and the publishing process begun. I traveled on 5 Greyhound Buses from Yuma, AZ to meet Mary in Austin, TX; carrying about twenty books in cases with me and she just stopped the emails and phone calls with me two weeks ago!! She let me spend money on the buses and motels without assuming any responsibility for what she had said and the documents she had sent via email. She hasn't answered any of my phone calls since June 4, 2026 and none of my email messages either since that time... I also have tried sending messages to and calling this company a number of times and have gotten no answer...
