Tom, we're sorry to hear that you have not been satisfied with our service. Your underwriting fee was refunded on 6/26/19 as part of our new policy to waive SBA underwriting fees for veterans. Thank you again for your service! There are presently no fees you have paid to South End Capital that have not been refunded. Underwriting fees are always refunded if we are not able to close your loan (it's part of our refund policy that is at the bottom of pg. 2 of your letter of interest). Also, we are presently working hard to re-evaluate your file for a financing option, you may have received information from your loan broker that your file has been withdrawn but this is not correct. You are correct, we are not the end-lender for our SBA program, which we are very transparent about. We certainly apologize if our teams communication was not fast enough, please keep in mind your loan broker is not an employee of South End Capital and communicating with us directly is the best way to receive timely and correct information.
