WH-1000XM5 - Complete disappointment!
Sony WH-1000XM5 Complete disappointment! I regret buying these headphones! First of all, the touch controls! They’re awful! Explain to me why they activate when I brush my shoulder, tilt my head, or accidentally touch something with the headphones — but to make them respond to my gloved hand, I have to really try hard!! It’s insanely annoying!! Secondly, because of these false triggers, the speak-to-chat function somehow turns on even though it was disabled, and listening to music becomes a nightmare!!! Thirdly, the touch panel can suddenly just stop responding altogether! On top of that, I started getting parasitic noises — humming, first in the left ear, then in the right — and they won’t go away. Before buying these headphones, I used the Sony WH-CH710N, and they still work perfectly! I really hope I just got a bad unit! Sony, how did you manage to make something like this?!
