Ease of use, speed and transcription quality

The tools inside the platform are great. We use Thai as our local language and it can translate Thai too. However, the Thai vocab needs to be expanded. But this is already great.

Great, awesome

I've been using Sonix for 2 years now for transcribing e-learning classes taught in Italian I then create the subtitles for. Overall, the transcription is good, and 2 years ago it was the best software around among those I could test. The reason of the 3 stars is that there has not been the minimum improvement over these 24 months, and being a paid service, not even cheap, one would expect the team is constantly working on improving the software and gathering feedback. I've been writing them about a constant spelling/grammar error that would be super easy to fix (I even provided the detailed explanation connected to linguistics that the IT team could use to write a very easy code to avoid that recurrent error), but it's still there after 2 years. All the other recurring issues are there as well: the software is not capable of understanding Italian verb forms that include pronouns and constantly writes the word RAW for any "ro" sound at the end of a word, and other similar things. It's really a pity there has not been any improvement. I would also be happy to collaborate with the team as Italian linguist providing practical feedback and suggestions. Another big con is that for subtitles one has to use the normal transcription and manually split the subtitles, because the subtitles feature does a terrible job at splitting sentences following the syntax.

Fast. Friendly interface. Worked great in Spanish.

It was easy to use and we got to learn and test about in class haha that's how good it was, although only a few times were mistakes but they were easy to fix within the site which is super convenient.

The platform is easy to use and delivers fast results, just what we were after.

Best software transfer from MP4 to docx in different langueges. I had a stroke so it helps to a writen version, to keep ideas.
