My experience with somolocosalsa In Medellin was really top notch! From the beginning to end transportation provided made me feel relaxed and secure. The accommodations were great and convenient to the private dance lessons. The absolute best part of my experience were my professional but loving teachers Miguel and Julie. They worked me very hard and encouraged me when they saw I needed it. I have danced before in Colombia and Cuba and never had such wonderful instruction! The whole program was great!

It was AWESOME!! I had so much fun!! I have spent a month in Medellin because I wanted to learn Salsa and Somoloco organized everything for me! They found me a great place to live, I had amazing teachers,Miguel and Laura, and together we made a schedule for lessons that fitted my own rythme. Thanks to Somoloco, I have learned so much about salsa history and local culture in general. I have met really sweet people whom I am now proud to call friends :) Thank you so much for sharing with me the real sabor of Colombia! I highly recommend Somoloco, truly authentic people. I can't wait to come back :))

I had an amazing week in Medellin, with Somoloco! It was our first time in Colombia, and we felt welcome and well supported by the Somoloco team. They helped us book accommodation in a cute neighborhood, and organized 3 hours of private lessons every single day. The best part was how the instructors accompanied us to fun nightclubs in the city to practice what we had learnt. Alejandra was available to answer any questions about things to do in the city as well. Overall, we felt great about leveling up our dance skills with Salome and Braiyan, and highly recommend this experience to anyone traveling in Medellin!

I had the best time on my somoloco salsa immersion in Medellin. The entire trip was a blast. I continue to tell friends it was an 11 out of 10. Everything from the dance instructors, to the experiences, to the city of Medellin, the tourist attractions. All of it was just perfect. The trip is coordinated very well and as a foreigner in a new country you certain receive the support from the somoloco staff needed to feel more than comfortable throughout the whole trip. I did a 1 week long immersion and returned from the trip with the confidence to go out on the dance floor and dance salsa. It’s a very challenging dance to learn from scratch so be prepared to work hard to figure it out. That said it’s very fulfilling once you begin to get the hang of it. Big thanks to david for introducing salsa to me and his somoloco program and another big shout out to Alejandra and Juan for being amazing instructors and making me feel welcomed throughout the trip and giving me a true cultural infusion into Colombian culture/lifestyle and most importantly salsa!

It was a great one week intro to Colombia!.. and to have salsa as the focal point, even better! They were able to quickly set up good programming and a nice accommodation. The condo was in a high rise and was nice and clean; it also had a washing machine, which came in handy. The condo was about a 15 min hike to the dance school, but I didn’t mind, the walk allowed me to get to know that area a little better. Same for the metro (since its near the dance school)… to be a little closer to the metro would be nice, but the location where the condo was at was really nice, so it’s a give and take. The salsa instructors were great!! They are super talented and great instructors. They quickly evaluated my level and with each class, they provided me great content to challenge me with and I really enjoyed it. Medellin is a beautiful city with plenty to see and the people are friendly, I look forward to another visit.

I had a really good week with somoloco. It was perfect to start my trip in Colombia. The dance teachers are really professional and will teach you on your level and always bring more and new moves. I got a good service and everybody is very helpful and nice! But I recommend to book without accomodation, there are hostels very close to one of the Dancing places, and then you can walk to take classes. Even when you want a private room, its gona be cheeper than the somoloco accomodation. For me somoloco is a bit expensive but its worth it ;-)

Had a marvelous time with Somolocosalsa in Colombia. Everyone was great and very helpful. Highly recommend that you take on the Somolocosalsa experience.

It was the best trip of my life. My teachers were fantastic. My apartment was beautiful and modern, located in a safe and lively area. The country is incredible and the Colombian people are warm and welcoming. More than just a trip, it was an experience.
