We are glad to hear the order arrived quickly, but we fully understand that fast shipping does not make up for a unit that did not perform the way you expected. That is never the experience we want for anyone. Regarding power and the mainboard failure: All miners that leave our facility are fully tested under load with matched, certified power supplies to confirm they are working correctly before they are shipped. In your case, the unit was connected to a server power supply rather than the tested power brick we pair with the device. Based on what we can see from the details provided, we believe the issue was most likely caused by an intermittent or not fully solid connection on the external power setup, which can unfortunately lead to premature failure of components even if the wiring appears correct on inspection. This is exactly why we ship miners with tested and certified power supplies that we know are stable and within specification for the hardware. When a different power solution is used, it introduces variables that are much harder for us to verify after the fact, and that limits what we can reasonably confirm and therefore what we can responsibly replace as a small business. That said, we absolutely do not want anyone to feel abandoned or unheard. We always encourage customers to reach out to us at [email protected] as soon as there is any sign of trouble so we can walk through the setup together, review photos or videos, and see what options are available. Even when we cannot honor every request, our goal is always to be transparent, fair, and as helpful as possible.

Receiving multiple units with issues right out of the box is absolutely not the standard we aim for, and I understand how frustrating that must have been. We take reports of dead displays, SSID issues, power faults, and build concerns very seriously, and your case has highlighted areas where our quality control clearly needs to improve. Regarding the screen specifically: the LCDs on these units are not soldered in by design, which is why a non-permanent fix (like double-sided tape) was mentioned. That said, we completely understand why this felt unacceptable on a brand-new device, and we should have communicated that better and offered you a clearer path to a proper resolution. On the question of the one unit we assessed as “working”: our intention was not to dodge a shipping refund, but to follow the test results we had at the time. However, if our communication came across as dismissive or unhelpful, that’s on us, and we’re sorry for that. We always strive to make things right with our customers, and in this case you were left disappointed. As for your concern about low-star reviews being hidden: we do not intentionally block negative feedback and we genuinely value all reviews, good or bad. Hello Jay, I am sorry for the frustration. This is not the experience we want for anyone. If a unit fails under normal use within the warranty window we repair or replace it and we cover shipping both ways. Restocking fees apply only to change of mind returns or units damaged by misuse. A single high temperature reading by itself is not a determination of misuse and we will not rely on that without a proper review. We have requested additional information through Trustpilot. Please share your order number,photos of the front and back of the device, and screenshots of the dashboard page with temperatures and voltage so that we can look into this. If it is confirmed defective, we will waive any fees and get a replacement moving right away. If you prefer a refund and it is eligible, once processed the refund balance will appear back on your payment method within a few business days. We appreciate the chance to make this right.

Solo Satoshi sells hardware only; we do not take deposits or “disappear.” Every order receives tracking, every support ticket gets a response, and we stand behind our warranty.
