I started using Solomon Admissions Consulting in December during my junior year. Peter Zimmerman advised me on which colleges to apply to and which extracurricular activities to focus on. He also advised me on my essays. He helped build a connection between my extracurricular activities and my essays, creating an enhanced image of who I am. What also helped a lot was his guidance on choosing majors that fit my profile and that would give me the best chances of being accepted. I applied to fifteen universities (4 private, 8 UC campuses, and 3 Cal States), but I used Solomon consulting for the 4 private colleges and the UC. I was deferred by the school to which I applied Early Decision I, but I was accepted by school to which I applied Early Decision II, with which I am very happy. Solomon Consulting opened my eyes to different private college options that I would not have considered, and Peter’s guidance on applying for early decision was most helpful.

Hands down the best college admissions company. Great knowledgeable advisors. My two children both got into their first choice of college. Would highly recommend this company for all your college needs.

These guys are legit. Extremely professional and no-nonsense attitude. Worked with them for my son for 2 years. He made it to his #1 choice of school. If you can a afford them, they are absolutely worth the money.

This service was honestly a life-saver. No one in my family attended college in the U.S., so I was at a complete loss when starting my applications last cycle. Solomon's initial questionnaire helped me to outlay my life experiences and begin brainstorming on possible topics. My admissions counselor was tailored to me based on what I wanted to major in and what schools I was applying to. He knew the ins and outs of what college admissions officers were looking for in my applications and my essays. He helped me to brainstorm ideas and edit my essays until they were perfect. I was able to ask any question I had and get an answer quickly. The best part about Solomon is how they work with you to create a "story" for your application and hone in on, or even help you create, your spikes. Ultimately, I don't think that I could have had the same results had I not worked with Solomon, and thanks to my admissions counselor, I will be attending a Top 10 University this upcoming fall!

As an ambitious high school student who aspired to study at some of the most selective schools in the nation, Solomon Admissions was immeasurably helpful in aiding to bridge the gap between my subpar public high school and the college admissions process. My admissions advisor had guided me through nearly every step of the process and worked with me to teach me how to display my accomplishments, background, and future aspirations properly for my applications. I am grateful to say that with the experience, guidance, and support of Solomon Advising that I am currently a rising sophomore within my dream school, which still seems impossible to fathom.

Solomon Admissions Consulting was critical to my success during the college application process. I received a flyer in the mail about their services and I knew immediately that I'd have to contact them in order to be a competitive applicant at a top university. They were extremely responsive and quick to match me with a counselor and review my grades, extracurriculars, etc. and were frank and straight to the point with my strengths and weaknesses. I appreciated this because our school admissions counselors do not focus on the flaws in our application so it was helpful to get feedback. My counselor was very nice and cordial and usually responded to my emails in a matter of hours. She was helpful with ideas for college essay prompts and I especially liked her creative suggestions about how to approach the questions and also the constructive criticism she left. Before Solomon my application was unorganized and jumbled, but my college counselor helped me weave all of my extracurriculars and courses together into a narrative that I am convinced help me get into my top college. Since I had a GPA below the 25th percentile of the other incoming students, I believe that her help in connecting my interests and showing my life goals through my college essays was the number one factor that allowed me to get in. That being said, it was a lot of work and I sometimes had to rewrite essays and revise multiple times based on editor feedback. However, I am so grateful that I chose Solomon Admissions Counseling to help in the college application process, and though it is an investment I am positive that it is worth the academic and social experiences I will have in the next 4 years at my top college! Solomon was very helpful during my college admissions process, even though I had only started working with them in the August before applying to college. Everything was clearly explained and their strategic positioning was extremely helpful. I had the premium three college package and ultimately was accepted to 2/3 of these colleges (both Ivy League universities). My emails were always promptly responded to and Solomon aided me in every aspect of the admissions process, from building my profile to interviewing and writing essays. I strongly recommend Solomon and had a very pleasant experience with them.
