My daughter worked with Sarah Godwin. At first, I blanched at the cost, but it was worth every penny, and more. Sarah is amazing - she knows her stuff so well, guided my daughter beautifully re what schools to apply to and how to present herself best in written form, and was so responsive. We purposely were hands-off except for a few questions and suggestions along the way, so as to allow Sarah to do her work and since it was obvious that she is a true expert in knowing how to navigate such matters, and she said she appreciated that and wished all parents took that approach. I couldn't recommend Solomon or Sarah more highly. I'd give 10 stars if that were an option. By the way, my daughter got into her early decision school choice.

Our daughter engaged Solomon at the start of her junior year of high school and was assigned to Sarah Godwin. Sarah's expertise with the top-tier university admissions process and approach, including her readily apparent up-to-date awareness of the university admissions landscape, was exceptional. Sarah's engagement with our daughter comprised of exactly the frequency, tone, rigor and compassion that made her the ideal advisor. It was a blessing for us as parents to stay all but entirely uninvolved in the college application process; from the get-go, we had full confidence that Sarah would cover everything from process to highly personalized guidance in school selection, essay selection, and which schools to consider for ED. Solomon advises while maintaining the integrity of the individual student's own authentic self and essay work. Our daughter had upmost respect and appreciation for Sarah throughout the process and I believe that instilled in her a higher level of calm in trudging through the otherwise stressful process of college applications. I know we'd have been very satisfied with the Solomon service even if our daughter had not been admitted to her first choice college (but fortunately she was, through ED) because the value that Solomon and Sarah brought to the process was just so readily apparent throughout the year.

Our family was so happy to work with Solomon Admissions during our daughter’s college process. Solomon Admission Consulting is a great tool for every student. Getting help from Mr. Zimmerman and figuring who I am and what I care about in the world were some of the very few life-changing experiences in my first eighteen-year of life. I started from knowing nothing about myself and the college admission process to getting admitted to Stanford University. Mr. Zimmerman not only gave me the most insightful information but also helped me see the world with critical eyes. He introduced me to the community I belong to as he guiding me on my extra-curriculum activities. The essay editing service was even better. As an international student who speaks English as a second language. Mr. Zimmerman helped me convey my feeling and thoughts through the essays in a more powerful and effective way of using better language, essay structure, logic, and wordings. His edited version of my common application essay made me, the original author, tear up. College admission is a very random process. Getting help from experts like Mr. Zimmerman and learning how to play the "game" are the keys to get accepted. What's better is the process of learning about the world and myself. If I do not get into the college of my dream, I would not be regretful for doing the activities that were "planned" for college admission, because I know the so-called "planned for admission activities" are going to be my life long activities.
