Solomon Admissions ConsultingReviews of solomonadmissions.com

We chose Solomon Consulting upon a strong recommendation from a friend and started working with Grace Chee from the end of our daughter’s sophomore year to the early decision period during her senior year. We cannot praise Grace enough for her knowledge, guidance, patience, and problem solving skills. From narrowing down our daughter’s interest area/standout position to navigating her to apply for internships, which she scored a very good one thanks to her help, to encouraging and advising her about her grades, the extracurricular activities, college list, which are among many, Grace meticulously structured and executed our daughter’s college application journey. We are extremely grateful for her professionalism that played a very important role in our daughter’s early admission to Cornell University. We are very happy as parents and highly recommend Solomon Consulting and especially Grace!

It was a pleasure for my family and I to work with Ms. Gilbert! She gave so much specific helpful feedback for all written documents (even summer college applications). Each essay went through multiple revisions and edits. She also gave detailed, personalized advice on how to connect your activities to each other, enhance research, and more. Overall, I had a great experience with Ms. Gilbert and would strongly recommend her as a college counselor!

Working with Cathleen at Solomon, as a college counselor has been one of the best decisions we’ve made. She is incredibly knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in her students' success. Cathleen has a rare ability to make the overwhelming college application process feel manageable and even exciting. From building a college list tailored to personal goals, to crafting standout essays, to preparing for interviews, she guided every step with expertise and care.

We had a very satisfying experience with Solomon Consulting. Wesley Rosamilla is my son’s counselor. My son has been admitted in UPENN. Wesley positioned my son very well: focusing on his strength, expanding it then making it into a cohesive application essay. Wesley is very hard working and knowledgeable. He is very supportive during the process. We are very happy with the results and would definitely recommend Wesley to our friends.

Solomon Consulting is the best! They helped our daughter every step of the way. Adrienne Gilbert, her advisor, was the kindest, most knowledgeable person we have ever met in this very difficult process. She helped our daughter edit her common application, her essays and even a letter of continued interest she wrote to one of her schools. Her advice was spot-on every single time! Applying to college is extremely complex and having Adrienne on our side made it easy. Thank you Adrienne! Our daughter owes her numerous admissions to your help!

Salomon Consulting was truly the best value for money, and we were lucky to work with TamyFee. At first, things were a bit rocky—mostly because my son’s expectations didn’t quite match the reality of what he was facing. We pushed back on some of her suggestions, but in the end, Tamy’s strategy proved to be exactly what he needed. I can’t recommend her enough.

We started working with Peter in late 10th grade, and from the very beginning, he took the time to understand my son’s background, strengths, and aspirations. He carefully designed a strategic positioning plan and provided consistent guidance, monitoring his progress monthly. When challenges arose, Peter’s encouragement and support gave my son the confidence to overcome them and continue striving for excellence. During the college application process, Peter’s expertise was invaluable. He guided us through crafting compelling essays and ensured that every part of the application reflected my son’s strengths and potential. Thanks to his dedication, and my son was accepted to his first-choice school—a top 6 university! We are incredibly grateful for Peter’s support and highly recommend him to any family looking for a knowledgeable, supportive, and results-driven college consultant.

TamyFee was an incredible asset throughout my son’s college admissions journey. We started working with her in early August, which some might consider late in the process—but not with Tamy! She provided us with a structured yet flexible schedule, assigning weekly tasks and accommodating my son’s busy senior-year commitments with ease. From the very beginning, her expertise was evident. She helped us craft a strategic college list, and we decided to pursue an “Extreme High Risk” approach—which resulted in my son gaining admission to an Ivy League school! Tamy’s ability to align my son’s strengths with the unique characteristics of the university was remarkable. Her essay guidance was unparalleled; she poured her heart and soul into every edit, transforming his essays into some of the most heartfelt, coherent, and scholarly pieces I’ve ever read. Thanks to Tamy’s unwavering support, we felt confident every step of the way. What truly set her apart, though, was her dedication to my son’s well-being. In the weeks leading up to his Early Decision results, she consistently sent him motivational quotes and words of encouragement to ease his nerves. My son felt so comfortable with Tamy that he even reached out to her directly for advice on managing his admissions anxiety—a testament to the safe and supportive environment she fostered. Tamy wasn’t just the key to getting my son into an Ivy League school; she played a pivotal role in his personal growth throughout the entire process. We cannot thank her and the Solomon team enough for their exceptional guidance and care.
