They just want money
They just want money. I bought Pro to use AI as a help, now they tell me to buy Max on another platform to use AI. They could've have told me before I paid for Pro.

Abo nicht Stornierter
Unverständliche und unsinnige Rückerstattungspolitik. Da ich mich mehrere Monate geschäftlich unterwegs war verpasste ich den Kündigungszeitpunkt, am Tag an dem die Verlängerung mitgeteilt wurde habe ich mich direkt mit dem Support auseinandergesetzt (erfolglos). Kaufe ich das Abo Beispielsweise über den Apple Account kann ich bis zu 14 Tage stornieren, kauft man das Abo direkt bei Sololearn ist eine Stornierung überhaupt nicht möglich. Auf der Website wird auf die Support Mail Adresse verwiesen. Hier bekommt man einen Automatischen Link auf die gleiche Seite zurück. Für mich so überhaupt nicht empfehlenswert. Zukünftig nur noch alle Käufe über Apple.

Refund policy a scam
The worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Robbery in a daylight. They renew your subscription without a notice and then deny your refund and try and cover their asses with their illegal refund policy. Do not ever set up an account with them. Scam scam scam scam scam scam!!!!!

Shit site, asking questions about stuff they do not teach so i lose my hearts, also weirdly formulated questions, beacuse all they want is money. Money hungry bastards.

Refund policy
Subject: Urgent: Subscription Cancellation and Refund Request (103671) Dear SoloLearn Support Team, I subscribed to SoloLearn for my daughter, who used it for some time but eventually lost interest. On 29th January, she informed me that she received an email regarding a charge of $52.49, which was submitted for settlement. Upon receiving this notification, I immediately cancelled the subscription and contacted the SoloLearn team to request both the cancellation of the account and a refund. However, after four days, I received a response from Nané (SoloLearn), which only included hyperlinks outlining the cancellation process—something I had already completed. My request ID is 103671, but I have yet to receive confirmation regarding the refund. Given that I acted promptly, I expect the refund to be processed without unnecessary delays. As a reputable company, SoloLearn should either refund the full amount or, at most, charge for one additional month. Please provide an update on the status of my refund at the earliest.

SoloLearn Federal Trade Commission Violation - Free Trial is Not Free
It appears that SoloLearn is in violation of the Restore Online Shoppers’ Confidence Act (ROSCA) (15 U.S.C. §§ 8401-8405), which is enforced by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). I was offered a free trial in the app, but when I accepted, I was instead immediately charged $76.60, without any warning, and without my consent. ROSCA prohibits post-transaction third-party sellers from charging a consumer’s account without clear disclosure of all material terms and obtaining express informed consent. In my case, I did not provide express informed consent for a charge of $76.60 USD. SoloLearn offered a free trial but did not disclose that: • My account would be charged immediately upon accepting the free trial. • An account that previously used a free trial (no matter how many years ago) would be ineligible, leading to automatic charges without warning. I have contacted both SoloLearn and Apple Support, but neither resolved the issue. SoloLearn’s response indicates their reliance on Apple for refunds but does not address the lack of adequate disclosure required under ROSCA. Apple Support did not provide a reason for their inability to process a refund. I have now filed an official complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) for further investigation. Timeline: •Illegal transaction date: Nov. 6, 2024 • Apple refund denials: Nov. 7 and Nov. 8, 2024 • SoloLearn response: Nov. 15, 2024

One of the worst platforms.
One of the worst platforms. The claimed free version forces you nearly in all new AI and machine learning courses to buy pro subscription, in order to be able to finish it and get the certificate. Additionally, in many courses, they omit data or knowledge required to know the answers apart from those who bought the pro version, so free users lose hearts and are forced to stop or buy pro. My advise: Check other apps!

Does not work 6 out of 10 times on a…
Does not work 6 out of 10 times on a desktop browser(firefox and chrome) Courses crash mid way. Some times the question is bugged. I cancelled my subscription after 1 week im going to switch to code academy. This platform had alot of potential if not for the frustrating bugs and glitches both on the mobile app and their website. I tested it on 3 different devices 2 desktops and one samsung galaxy s23 ultra
