The overall process of making the book was really easy and allowed for the double checking and editing to be done easily. I gave the book as a gift to a friend and they really were impressed and enjoyed it a whole lot!! I would recommend to anyone wanting to easily print a book that they've always wanted to print.

Excellent.. Printing sharp. My only suggestion is that it would be nice to be able to print my mini book more to the margins of the page. The size is limited and somewhat small. They responded immediately but unfortunately that cannot be done for this book. They suggested a larger book but I want the actual book to be smaller. There is quite a bit of free margin space around the text portion.

I chose Solentro because it was the only company I could find that allowed text and photos. Creating the book was very time consuming because you can't edit a page once you've chosen the format which means starting the page all over. The book was also significantly more expensive (and smaller) than any photo book I've made with other photo book companies but I am happy with the end result.

Used Solentro to design a custom book for the 50th birthday of a friend. The entire user experience was very pleasant. Overall, the process was intuitive and simple. It might help to have the structure of the book preset before beginning the actual layout in the template, as editing at times is cumbersome and requires repeating some steps. By far, the most versatile platform for this kind of project. The weakest link is delivery time. Getting the book took forever even though I ordered it 3 weeks in advance and it was shipped via Fedex. Regrettably, the gift didn't make it in time; when my friend did finally get it, she loved the execution. I was tracking the shipment and noticed that it was stuck in a warehouse in Belgium for 8 days. Unacceptable. So if you are going to use this service for a specific event, design your book way in advance. I would use the service again and would recommend it to others as there are different format options and price points to meet different people's needs.
