I stumbled upon SoftwareAdvice.com quite by mistake on Friday afternoon. I was comparing prices for obtaining the ‘LLC’ designation from one of the legal services sites online. All of those sites offered various legal services for businesses that were highly affordable, quickly and were grouped in levels of services with progressively increasing price points. ‘ a la carte style. The services provided more support for different lengths of time and payment options. Some were monthly charges while others were billed on a annual basis. The Someone from the SoftwareAdvice dialogue-chat box asked if I was looking for software for my business and what type of business I was engaged in, and where my company was in its life cycle. Was it a startup or an established business? Just to see what the site could do, I asked whether they had software that I could use to develop legal forms, manage document filing AND support a Registered Agent function. Without hesitation. a list of software titles begin scrolling in front of my face. There was software that provided Law office management, Law brief and case development modules. I saw Trial scheduling, Digital Law Libraries, and on and on. I was really impressed. Along with the software names and reviews, there is pricing information and believe it or not, they also show what software has ‘FREE VERSIONS’ or free trials and/or free demos of each title. I told the bot that I was an author working on a new book project and I had searched for an app that would be a resource to give me the support and guidance in story/chapter development, editing and finally, query marketing. The title that got my immediate attention was ‘Living Writer’. If you’re interested in how THAT experience was for me, please look up the review I prepared for the Living Writer software. I returned to SoftwareAdvice.com today to find software for businesses that work in the Government Contracting and Procurement industries. I found software that provided formal Procurement training, Logistics, Supply Chain Management and Job Banking. I’m going to learn as much as I can from what this site has to offer. I invite you to check it out for yourself. You certainly won’t waste your time, and you’re certain to find the modality you’re looking for.
