Its a good tool for portals especially when needing to cut costs related to how much the same functionality would run using Airtable as your primary backend.

Just last week, I started building a portal for my private transfer business. In a few days I went from not understanding Softr to a working portal for drivers and a public landing page (tied to my custom domain) where clients can request rides. I mainly used the new AI co-builder, for some bits I used the no-code builder.
