The short and long sleeve tees are phenomenal and fit perfectly. They are much more appropriate fitting than other brands.

Great shorts for casual wear and the gym
I have purchased three pairs of the 7" lined shorts and they are now my go to athletic shorts. They look great just wearing them around and perform great during my gym workouts.

New SODO garments do not measure up to the originals.
I know that there is a new owner of SODO clothing now. For myself I have a lot of long sleeve, short sleeve, pullovers & pants from the original owner. The quality of these garments were outstanding. Soft texture, great fit, nice weight to the fabric, color choices offered were diverse and nice, all clothing had a slight elasticity to it and the quality was awesome. Only bought one long sleeve shirt from the new owner and it doesn’t compare at all quality wise, stiff fabric with little give and thinner. While it is sewn well, it doesn’t have the double stitching the originals had. These originals were solid, holds up well still after over 10 years on my older shirts.

Good morning, thanks so much for sharing this, and we'd love to expand on a few things you said — because we're right on the same page with you.
One of the reasons we took over the reigns at Sodo was our shared fondness of what is called the "SOLUX" fabric that you described.
It is a heavier GSM mid-weight material with an ultra-soft (unbeatable) hand feel and a ton of great qualities. Perfect for everyday wear and lighter workouts where it's thicker weight is not a hindrance, but feels supportive and soft.
And the good news is that we are 100% bringing it back, inclusive of many improvements requested by the Sodo community and users like yourself. Like you, many of us have been wearing the SOLUX stuff for years and years, so it's not going anywhere; we just needed the time to bring it back right.
On the shirt you purchased: this is part of our performance UPF 50+ line, which is a structurally different material than SOLUX. It's lighter, thinner, and much more breathable. Perfect for heat, outdoors, or intense workouts where the SOLUX fabric felt too heavy. It is not intended to replace the SOLUX line, but rather to expand our offerings into UPF 50+ and sun protective performance wear.

Great design and practically - can be further improved
Great design, looks and practicality with the running shorts. However, I'd say that the materials could be lighter and more breathable. Fabric also needs to be have better odour control (vs my old lulus which has no issues)

We'd love to connect with you offline and dig deeper on which Lulus you comparing with — as a key thing with odor control is the actual treatment used (because they're all different chemically).
Some odor control treatments are stronger than ours, but they fail our safety criteria and we would not want them on our skin.
