Pass it O.
It should have been easier.
"These people know what I have purchased from them and they also know that all the attachments are 14 mm they also know that all I've ordered is 14 mm, so please tell me why these last two are so much smaller than the 14 mm, if it's really a 14 mm? I have the receipts." *Please view all of SmokingCats edits/revisions. Remember , they can't show me a picture of their own merchandise as an example , because all they have are stock photos. Thank you. "Customer feedback for the online head shop Smoking Cats (smokingcats.com) highlights highly polarizing service, with recent customer reviews averaging just 2.4 out of 5 stars on Trustpilot." Google Gemini - 7/11/2026 Owner does not listen. So I went to SIMPLE GLASS PIPE shop that had some pink ones. After I bought them, they messaged me saying they weren't able to ship them out, so I said okay. Then I decided to check SmokingCats, and they showed them in stock too. I tried to buy them, but they also, cancelled without notifying me. Since those were what I needed, I decided to buy the plain ones like I already had before from SmokingCats. I knew it was a 14mm, so that is what I ordered. What I received, however, was a 10mm size. There were no apologies. It was like calling me a liar and saying I don't know how to measure, which is quite embarrassing. I even sent them a photo where they could clearly see there is no way it was past 11mm, or even 12mm at most—counting the outside of the lip, the inside of the lip, whatever you want to count, it was absolutely not 14mm. *7/9/26 I have purchased the bubbler (14mm) and 2 orders of 14mm replacement bowls from SmokingCats. The latter was 10mm as shown in photos to them (SimpleCats). SimpleGlassPipe and SmokingCats are the same business and mix correspondence often. 10mm does not swell above the adapter. 15 yrs experience? Of course, they just didn't fit. Now I've had to buy a piece of a hookah silicone ring to put inside to try to force it to fit. The whole time, the owner could have just said, "Send those back, I will send you a new set. I'm sorry this happened." After the second reply, he said I could send them back at my expense. Again, people, we are talking about $8.00 here. It would cost me that to return. Never again. In conclusion, all the glass items in my possession were acquired from SmokingCats, a drop-shipment company that lacks awareness of the inventory available on their websites, or the products they dispatch to customers. NO THREATENING MESSAGES, except that I will continue to expose their ignorance. This company is so inept that they literally sent me a picture showing me a competitor's piece of glass with an inches ruler and asked me to do the same thing and of course I did. Now my question is why didn't you send a picture of your own merchandise? You can say all you want about me knowing about measurements or math, but I can tell you one thing I know for sure. I bought everything from you it was 14 mm The replacements were 14 mm the last set of replacements you sent me were 10 mm it's easy to see that they don't fit and they fall into it. Pay attention to this company's behavior, there's a lot to learn. I have reviewed my transaction history and can confirm that all of my previous glass purchases—including the 14 mm bubbler and two subsequent orders for replacement bowls—were made through your company. Despite this, the most recent set of adapters I received are 10 mm and do not fit my 14 mm equipment. The photos I provided clearly demonstrate that the pieces do not exceed 11 mm or 12 mm at most, yet you continue to insist they are 14 mm or even 18 mm. It is frustrating to have 15 years of experience flaunted and to be told I do not know how to measure, especially when I have provided photographic evidence using the very ruler method you requested. The measurement is 12.7 mm at the widest point. The digital caliper shows 0.50 inches, which converts to 12.7 mm. I am not interested in paying for return shipping on an $8.00 item that was sent incorrectly. As a customer who has spent over $100 with you, I expected a simple correction for this error rather than public mockery and a refusal to acknowledge your inventory records. Since you have declined to send the correct 14 mm replacements, I will continue to share my experience and these photos across all review platforms to ensure other customers are aware of your service standards.

Customer service is not a place for anyone to unload insults, abusive language, or disrespect. Repeatedly referring to our staff as “those people,” calling us ignorant, and making accusations about “dropshipping companies” is unacceptable. The issue began because the wrong item was ordered. We have explained this clearly several times, but that fact continues to be ignored. We have provide a reasonable solution, but we will not tolerate insults, false accusations, or abusive behavior simply because other companies may choose to ignore it. The customer has sent threatening email messages, yes, there is email records, accused us unfairly, and called us a dropshipper, while ignoring the measurements shown in his own photos. At this point, it is honestly kind funny that we even have to explain basic glass joint sizing here, but we will do it so others can judge for themselves. https://ibb.co/sd6PkCnt We had to screenshot and lightly edit the image only to highlight the customer’s own words and photos. The purpose is to show the actual measurement and what the customer provided, not to change the facts. The customer’s own photo shows the joint next to a ruler, and the measurement appears to match a 14mm joint which he ordered,. We are sharing this so others can clearly see the evidence and judge based on the customer’s own photo. Based on the customer’s own photos, the joint shown next to the ruler appears to measure about 0.5 inch in diameter. That is accurate for a 14mm glass joint. For reference, glass joint sizing is based on millimeters. A 14mm joint is about 0.55 inch in diameter because 14mm divided by 25.4 equals 0.55 inch. An 18mm joint is about 0.71 inch in diameter because 18mm divided by 25.4 equals 0.71 inch. So if the joint in the customer’s own photo measures around 0.5 inch, that supports it being a 14mm joint, not an 18mm joint. If you try to measure a 14mm glass joint on an inch ruler by counting 14 inch marks or 14 small lines, that is simply wrong. Millimeters and inches are two different measurement systems. They do not match line-for-line on a ruler. So a 14mm joint will look a little over 1/2 inch on an inch ruler. It will not line up with “14 lines” on the inch side. Before making accusations, please understand the difference between millimeters and inches. This is basic math measurement, not a product defect. It appears the customer does not have a basic understanding of how glass joint sizing works. We already replied by email and apologized for the customer’s frustration, even though the evidence does not show that we sent the wrong item. We reviewed the customer’s own photos, compared the size, and explained why this appears to be the correct 14mm adapter. We will let others judge the situation based on the customer’s own photos and the measurements shown. Links for customers own photo and his own words, proof that we are not wrong, https://www.smokingcats.com/collections/oil-burners/products/glass-on-glass-oil-burner-adapter First, we cannot send a customer what they “might need” based on order history or assumptions. If a customer ordered 14mm two times before, and then asks for 18mm on the third order, we still have to ship exactly what the customer selected and paid for on that order. There is no guessing here. We can only ship what the customer actually orders. Second, what is the point of measuring a stock product photo? The issue here is not the stock photo. The customer’s claim is that we shipped the wrong joint size ?. The customer already took their own photo with the item we sent and measured the actual item they received 14mm as customer ordered. That photo shows the joint is around 0.5 inch, which matches a 14mm joint. A 14mm joint is about 0.55 inch, while an 18mm joint is about 0.71 inch. So based on the customer’s own photo, the item does not appear to be the wrong size. It appears the measurement and joint sizing were misunderstood. this is just sad...
