This company charged over $1200 in interest to my mothers account. Called in to see if they could waive some of the interest from missing the promotion deadline by a few weeks, but customer service and their supervisor stated they could not help. This company makes you set up paperless billing and auto pay to save on additional monthly fees hoping the customer forgets about the deadline. This happened in my mothers case. Pay off the entire balance ASAP and don't fall into their predatory billing practices.

Do not trust Smile Generation dentists
Do not trust any dentist that is part of Smile Generation. Ashley Koh (I refuse to honor her Dr. title after she scammed me) and Capitol Hill Dental Group are a scam operation. I went in for a cleaning and left being told I needed a treatment plan that included three crowns and a root canal. When Ashley Koh asked what I thought about that I said my previous two dentists never brought up needing this extensive of work. She pointed to some things on the x-ray, but as a non-medical professional I just agreed and thought she was being thorough. I went forward with a crown (mind you I’ve never had one before) a week after that appointment. When I told some people about the treatment plan they thought it was odd that I would need so much dental work when I didn’t have any pain or sensitivity to hot or cold.
I went back to my previous dentist who is not owned by a major company (more on that later) and he disagreed with Ashley Koh and stated I didn’t need any of that work.I was also advised that some dentists are like mechanics and will tell you to have all of this work done that you don’t need just so they can bill your insurance company. What is so upsetting is that I got one crown so I no longer have my natural tooth and we all know that crowns don’t last forever.
They did a great job of scrubbing Google Reviews, but if you look deep on Google Reviews and look at other sites like Yelp there are several people reporting a similar situation. The office is branded as a local office, but it is actually owned by Smile Generation. As with all corporations profit, revenue and fat CEO salaries are more important than true patient care.
Do yourself a favor and do not go here. Find a local dentist not associated with a major company. I will be reporting Ashley Koh to the board for her deceitful practices and will be reporting Capitol HIll Dental Group to the BBB as a scam operation.

Botched Crown and terrible experience
Botched Crown.
I went in with a severe toothache. She, my Dentist recommended a crown( which is what they push). During the procedure she seemed unsure and her assistance was ruff and heavy handed with the suction, banging against other teeth in my mouth. Afterward I left with a numb tooth and irrated gums. The next day there was still pain and senstivity in my new crown and cheekbone. I went back becuase the pain had gotten worse so she shaved the crown and said "That all she could do for me" In hopes that it would get better , about a month later I start experincing swelling and could not chew on the side of the new crown. Feeling frustrated and upset I went back, but she was no longer with Smiles Generation. Another Dentist took a look and X-ray and found inflamation and a abscessed tooth and recommended a root canal
So I out $2300 for a failed crown and now have to pay for a root canal which they cant or wont do. Please stay awy from Smiles Generation in Summerville or where ever they are located . I would not wished this on anyone. Be warned

Fraudulent company Buyer beware
I cannot believe our government allows a company like this to exist it has to be the most corrupt company. I've ever had the dissatisfaction of dealing with there are thousands and thousands of complaints against this company. They make it impossible to pay your bill, they do everything they possibly can, so you cannot talk to a human being. It's the most corrupt company I've ever heard of I just can't believe they're in business. My advice run as fast as you can notify the Attorney General notify, the Better Business Bureau and demand that they investigate this fraudulent company. It would be a class action lawsuit. Started immediately.

Credit Card crooks
My review is similar to the others. I submitted the whole promotional amount (1600+) as suggested on the website, but somehow I'm now being billed interest for more than the balance I owed. I tried talking to customer service but they bluntly refused to remove the interest. I will never use this company again. Will prefer to rather pay upfront than going with these crooks.

Expiring promotional rate
I want to start by acknowledging that I understand the promotional financing terms and that not paying off my balance before the promotional period expired was ultimately my responsibility.
My reason for leaving this review is not because the interest was charged, but because of the lack of consideration and customer service I experienced when I reached out for help.
My family recently went through a difficult hardship, and during that time, keeping track of a promotional financing deadline was not my highest priority. When I contacted Smile Generation, I explained my situation and asked if there was any possibility of an exception or accommodation. I was not looking to avoid paying my balance—in fact, I offered to pay the remaining balance in full immediately, excluding the retroactive interest charges.
Unfortunately, I felt that my concerns were dismissed without much discussion or consideration. Rather than feeling like a valued long-term customer, I felt like no one was interested in hearing my situation or exploring any possible solution.
My balance was approximately $850. Once the promotional period expired, deferred interest was added and my balance increased to roughly $1,565—nearly double the original amount. While I understand that these charges are permitted under the financing agreement, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility and empathy shown when I reached out.
My family has been using Smile Generation for years, and I was planning to return for my daughter’s Invisalign treatment. After this experience, however, I will be exploring other options.
I hope this review serves as a reminder to others using promotional financing: pay very close attention to your promotional expiration date. Based on my experience, even if you are facing unexpected hardships, you should not expect any exceptions once the promotional period has ended.

I paid off my full balance and then was…
I paid off my full balance and then was charged a late fee even tho told all was paid up in full and to expect no other charges. When I questioned the late fee I was told I now have a late fee on the late fee equaling $80, what?
