I bought a brand new Smileboxy Portable Ebook Readers, and it is frozen. So far no response from the company. After reading the reviews that are aleady here, it appears contacting this company is useless, with a return policy that puts all the return costs on the customer, and that is shipping it to Hong Kong China. This company appears to be a total scam.

Rubbish CD Player even worse company to deal with. The player did not hold its charge for more than one hour so can only be used if plugged into the mains. My complaint to this company resulted in a final offer of £15 off the price I paid if I kept the player which I accepted otherwise there were non specific handling and return charges to be paid so I cut my losses and concluded matters. Lesson learned avoid this company at all costs!

I agree with other reviewers about Smileboxy. I just paid about $150 for a crappy portable CD player with terrible sound and bluetooth connection that doesn't seem to work. I should have simply clicked once on Amazon and I would have found a dozen better products for one third the price. Then when I tried to return it they said they'd either reimburse me 10% and let me keep it, or they'd send me an address to return it for full reimbursement. Well, that turned out to be an address in China with $45 dollar postage and a 15% "handling fee." Stay away from this company.

This company is a complete and utter rip off. The birdscarer they sell for over $200 nz is on buy direct for $29.90 looks the same. Then it doesn't work and leaks. Then they offer you a 5% refund after wanting photos and all types of other evidence. The most amount I could get out of them was 40%. If you sent it back they want to charge for there shipping your return shipping and 15% handling fee for their product that doesn't work. Rip off stay away.

I ordered this product due to misrepresentations. The product was presented as an iPad - it is an Android. It is not compatible with AT&T and their IMEI shows incompatibility with this device. I asked for a return label due to incompatibility. They require you to ship it to China which costs more the the device itself. BUYER BE WARE!

I received my order. After charging it I can only get a page of a foreign language. It repeats line after line. I've reached out 4 times to the support site. I think it is a scam. I would give it negative stars if I could. I had read reviews that were positive, so I ordered. I want to recommend that no one else buys it.

This retail cite was given almost a perfect rating, so I ordered an eReader for my mother (BK7910) from your cite. We received it yesterday (1/262/26) and it is obvious that it was NOT a new device, but rather, a refurbished one. Books and images from 2009 forward were still on the devices internal memory. The item was cheaply made, requiring repeated pressing of buttons to get a response to command processes. The item shipped directly from China and tracking the shipment has been the only seamless action regarding the purchase. After a lengthy time to fully charge the device and a tedious, lengthy time getting the device restored and connected to the internet to download a book, the device will not stay charged for over 10-15 minutes. The only way to contact this company is via email. There is no direct customer contact phone number. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with this purchase. I would NOT recommend ordering this product, nor would I suggest ordering anything from this retailer. I have no idea if/when I will here back from my customer service email inquiry as I did not receive an automatic reply advising that my correspondence was received and to be reviewed. DO NOT order from these types of retailers...an 'inexpensive' item with so-called 'high ratings' is often no better than a scam. Go with reputable retailers like Best Buy where issues can possibly be addressed in person.
