Yeah so I initially saw a free trial for it on uber and it said I could get 15 bucks if I did some sort of survey did it and it said it would take months for the 15$ to go to my account then they charged me 25$ without me giving my debit card information!

I’ve never heard of the company, let alone been on their website… however today I’ve been charged £25 out my bank account, total fraud. I don’t understand they’ve got my bank details or how this is even possible, or the fact the company is still running… Would really appreciate any help anyone can give as to how to resolve this, as in a email address or number to contact. Ps, I’m not even from America, I’m in England but have been charged by their American company? Thanks. UPDATE: once ‘smartyplus’ responded to this and gave me their contact details I immediately emailed them, saying I wanted a full refund and my account shut down’ and to be fair within about 10 minutes they responded, and gave me a full refund for the last 3 months that they’d been taking money… still not sure as to how they got access to my bank even though I’d never heard of them.

It's a scam I wouldn't expect anything less they made me pay for a subscription without my knowledge

I found the damn $25 charge from Smartyplus. I never signed up with them for a membership, I had never been to their website or even heard of them. This is a filthy scam that this company has been getting away with for years. Reddit has years of posts from people these sleazebags have ripped off. Chatted with CS and they canceled it, but I have zero faith that they will be true to their word. This is illegal. Something needs to be done about this fraud.
