I was a member in this gym for about 7 months and I experienced the worst customer service. I was approached by one of the employees just because I had a small backpack by my side. He instructed me in front of other customers that I couldn’t have my backpack while working out. The reason as to why I had my backpack was because I have valuable stuff and there is a sign stating that they are not responsible for items left in the locker room. As we know, gyms are notorious for vandalism. The location of the smart fit is in Santiago by Pontezuela which is a good area, and I believe a small backpack that is not obstructing anyone isn’t an issue to be approached by someone while you working out.

I signed up for a Smart Fit membership after seeing an Instagram advertisement that clearly stated "2 FREE MONTHS". The advertisement led me to believe I would receive two consecutive free months. Only after completing my registration did I discover that the promotion actually referred to the 1st and 13th months and required a minimum stay of 3 months to keep the benefit. This important information was not presented clearly in the main advertisement. I also received unexpected charges before my first month had even ended. I believe the advertisement was misleading and created a false expectation. I respectfully request that Smart Fit review my case, cancel the related charges, and improve the clarity of its promotional advertisements to avoid confusing other customers.

Nunca dejen su tarjeta de credito o cuenta. Llevo dos años intentando anular mi inscripción, pues me mude de cdmx a cancun, y mi inscripcion era solo para 1 gimnasio. Mando mails, whatsapp, hablo con el banco. Pero simplemente no la cancelan. Llevo 15.000 mxn gastados, en algo que no utilizo. Por favor, nunca escribo o me quejo, pero lo de esta compañia es de jurzgado de guardia

Brazilian company in Mexico asking fingerprint ( biometric data) in order to let you in! In Mexico the law protects us, and we have the right to protect our biometric data! This is unlawful!

Bad service all together - staff not educated in their own rules, gave me the wrong information and lied and said I wasn't eligible for an offer, that I was - so I had to pay double instead (whereafter another employee told me, that I of course was eligible like everyone else). Canceled the membership and now, 2 months later, it is still not cancelled and they're still charging med. Tried to email them on their provided email 2 times and it bounced back/wasn't able to deliver. Emailed them on the contact form on their website 2 times, no reply several weeks after. Still paying membership to them and can get no contact to them - except their newsletter about how fantastic they are in their offers.

if you are going to visit Mexico and want to use the services of smartfit.com, looks like a very nice gym, by the way , although I was not allow entry . please note that you cannot buy a day pass. You cannot buy a monthly or weekly pass. You cannot pay for a monthly pass with a foreign bank card or in cash. You can only pay with a Mexican bank card. So much for services and making foreigners feel welcome.
