Robert was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Very knowledgeable and no BS about anything. He laid out everything that i needed to do and what he would try to get done for me. I spoke with a lot of other reps. in an attempt to get financing and Robert was the only person that i felt comfortable with.He did what he said he would do. No promises just hard work. I was in the market to start a new business. I found a business that I fell in love with but like most, I did not have $50,000 just laying around that I could just part with. So, I decided to apply for a equipment loan. I actually applied with the manufacture that I was buying the equipment from as they have companies they deal with. After submitting an application with them, I decided I should apply with another one so maybe I could get a better deal with 2 brokers. Well, I am glad I did! The manufactures people said in the beginning that everything looked great and they see no reason I should not be approved. Well, I did not even hear from them for over 1 week. I then spoke to Doug Anderson from Smarter Finance who was assigned to me. Doug asked me some serious questions and he was straight forward. While I was answering his questions, I could hear it in his voice that I was not saying what he wanted to hear so I was extremely nervous and felt like there was no way in heck I was getting this loan. The next day, Doug called me and requested some info, normal stuff, so I provided everything he requested. After that, I think it was only 1 maybe 2 days, I got a text from Doug saying I am approved and to please call him to work out the details. I was smiling from ear to ear knowing I can start my next business venture. Now, let me tell you the scary part to where I almost walked away. Only because of the time we live in of internet scams and such. I never met Doug or anyone from Smarter Finance. The one red flag that scared the heck out of me was I was asked to wire transfer the first and last months payment plus a small application fee. NO! it was not the money that scared me because I already knew from research that most loans like this will require first, last and maybe a small app/processing fee. That's the name of the game! What scared me was the wire transfer! I wanted to charge it so I would be protected by my credit card company but Doug said they will not accept credit card payments as they don't want you going in debt to start a business. I always read that wire transfers to a person you never met was dangerous. This is why I almost walked away. I researched Doug Anderson and Smarter Finance thru every government website and every social media known to man for 17 hours straight. I almost felt like a stalker but I wanted to protect my self. The next day I even called Doug and explained to him that I am scared to wire you money because I have no idea who you are and never met you being over a thousand miles away. He listened to me and tried to assure me they are the real deal. So, the next day I went to my bank and wired the money completely nervous hoping I was not going to get screwed. As soon as the wire transfer went thru< I started getting calls and emails about the next step and receive a prepaid FedEx stamp to over night them the originals. Once they received the originals, a phone call or two from Doug then the actual company that funded me. The very next day, I received an email from the manufacture that my order was paid in full and asked when I would like to come and pick it up. I was so dang happy and I a still happy to this day!!!! Thank you Doug Anderson and Thank you Smarter Finance. I am now the proud owner of my own business doing Dustless Blasting out of Florida under the name Pro Blast of South Florida. I open in about 7 days to be fully operational. I could not have done it without you and to think I almost walked away from being worried about a wire transfer. P.S. the other company called me after I was all complete with Doug to tell me they tried with 3 lenders who all turned me down and maybe I should take a personal loan. What a joke. Doug got me done with in couple/few days at first lender. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! Patrick Grimes

My experience with Bryan Atherton has been the most professional and efficient. Also we had a great relation with each other that I have never experienced before. He has always been there every step of loan and has always guided me. I would always reccomend him.
