If there is damage during transport, the client must note it on the final inspection report, pay the remaining balance stated in the agreement, and then contact the carrier's main office and their insurance company. Failing to note any damage on the final inspection report releases the carrier from any liability and voids the ability to file a damage claim. 9) A non-operational fee of $150.00 will be charged for all non-running vehicles. This fee will be included in the final quote provided by SMART CARSHIP LLC. If the vehicle becomes non-operational during transport, the fee will be applied to the original quote. The final quote will be given to the customer at the time of dispatching the carrier for vehicle pickup. 10) While SMART CARSHIP LLC. aims to promptly provide a carrier for vehicle transport according to your instructions, we cannot guarantee specific pickup or delivery dates. A cancellation fee of $200 will be charged for orders cancelled within 7 days of the requested available pickup date. SMART CARSHIP LLC. is not responsible for rental vehicle expenses, nor will it be liable for any mechanical or operating failures of your vehicle. The shipper agrees to pay the quoted price to SMART CARSHIP LLC. for delivered vehicles and will not dispute the payment via credit card chargebacks. This agreement and any shipments are subject to all the terms and conditions of the carrier's tariff and the uniform straight bill of lading [BOL], available at the carrier's office. 11) To enhance the convenience of our services, we are pleased to inform you that we are now accepting reservation payments through Cash App, Apple-pay and Zelle. These secure and widely-used platforms aim to provide you with a seamless and efficient experience throughout your transaction process. 12) This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California and shall be construed in accordance with them. The parties agree that any legal action arising from this agreement must be filed in a jurisdictional court, and SMART CARSHIP LLC liability is limited to the broker's fee only. The client submits to the jurisdiction of such courts and waives any right to jurisdiction in any other location. By accepting the transport terms provided by SMART CARSHIP LLC., the client authorizes a small down payment via credit or debit card, check by phone or mail. The client understands that the remaining balance is due upon delivery and must be paid in full by cash, cashier's check, or money order to the authorized transporter.

This company is a scam they really suck.

I'd give zero stars if I could. This company is a total scam. They took my money and never moved my car. Excuse after excuse. Run from these fraudsters!

SCAM don't trust this compony, not keeping agreements and any words that saying or promising

Original schedule was for a Friday. They called back to say it would be 1-2 days later. Then they called back and tried to raise the price. The office worker said the driver was asking for an additional $1599 on a $675 ship. I cancelled the ship. They can keep the deposit of $175. Wanted to charge a cancellation fee of $200.

Cant believe i have to give them 1 Star. Total Bait and Switch. Quoted me 480 Sent 138 Deposit Called for pickup told me price changed to 1200. Asked to cancel . Told me 200 cancellation fee. Lost the deposit. Mike Miller was my contact His number is 6286005971. Funny thing, everyone at Smart Carship has a last name of Miller.....

These people are scammers they will give you a contract for a low price tell you to send a deposit to lock in the price then when it’s time to pick up your vehicle they will say the dispatcher needs more money!! I paid $175 never received any service or payment back! All of the 5 star reviews are fake! They have ripped off many customers and don’t keep their word. It’s sad that people are able to create websites to steal from customers without having any consequences. They say they’re based in California which is a lie the man that spoke to me ended up telling on himself stating he was out of the country. After he couldn’t convince me to pay more money he ended up calling me from unknown numbers. Called my mother number that was supposed to receive my car when it was to be delivered just to try to scam her into convincing me to pay them more money. Some lady called that couldn’t speak good English to say she works for the company and I need to send them more money before they can come pickup my car when it says in the contract that I wouldn’t need to pay any more money until the car is delivered! Please whatever you do don’t trust these people!

I setup a car shipment from San Diego to Florida. Gave the deposit of $160 with a month out date to pick up the truck. $611 due on delivery to the driver. Day of pickup came and salesman pushed me on to talk to the dispatcher. Dispatcher said price was now running about $2400 for the trip but he could get me a deal at $1500. I did not fall for it but had to fly to Florida and not have a car there so ended up renting. After many calls and emails I gave up trying to get my $160 back. Probably part of their evil plans. Do not think for a second they are going to honor your contract with them.
