All of these companies are virtually the same. They quote you low prices and then hike them up to almost double. One recommendation is to negotiate with these companies on the initial deposit. I’m certain this is their fee that they take initially and then the rest is the driver’s fee on delivery. It’s not the worst but not the best either. They were fine till they assigned a driver to me. I was not in any way informed about my stuff needing to be under the windows. Later they told me that I need to pay $50 extra. We negotiated and brought it down to $25. After this they did not take any calls or replied to our messages. In essence I had to pay $50 on my own. They called me profusely till I paid their deposit and then did not even have enough courtesy to pick up my call. NOT RECOMMENDING to anyone. It’s better to call the drivers directly than to go through these pirate companies.

Smart Carship (Rickey) informed us that customer would pay cash @ delivery. Customer only had 1/3 of $. Rickey then explained that if customer didn’t pay within a few hours that they would send us payment. DID NOT HAPPEN! Waited 3 days, just to give them time to get things together, NOTHING. Rickey insisted that I track down customer. Customer quit answering calls after delivery. I suggested that Smart Carship pay me (since I held up my end of agreement) & then they go after customer, but Rickey avoided me. It has now been 6 days since delivery & neither are the customer or Rickey w/ Smart Carship answering calls/ texts. Would not recommend doing business with Smart Carship.

DO NOT TRUST!!! These are scammers. They will take your deposit after quoting you one price, then up the price last minute. They’ll switch drivers on you, who never show.

They had my last review removed. This company took a deposit, gave me a quote, spoke to me up until the day of and then, upon the day oif moving and shipping, ghosted me. After a few hours of no communication they came back with a price 3 times the amount. They tried to negotiate a refund of my deposit based on rather I took my truthful review down. Trustpilot's reputation is now on the line for deleting the previous review. This company did not ship my vehicle. They did try and price gouge me. I have no reason to believe they would have completed the shipment at all. I do not believe this company is reputable. They did nothing but cause me great anxiety on moving day, leave me in a lurch, and then harras with phone calls and texts regarding a bad review that they could not have deserved more/

Because 0 stars isn't an option. (Avoid this company) Contacted them 20 Dec for a quote. I was given their "market-driven quotes based on real-time conditions" and the next day they inform me they have a driver BUT it's going to be 40% more than the quote I was given. They then tried to explain it was due to the season and holidays. Did they not know it's winter? Did the holidays just sneak up on them? This company advertises "While some companies may offer unrealistically low estimates, only to increase them significantly later, we prioritize transparency. We provide you with fair, market-driven quotes based on real-time conditions, ensuring you always get a realistic picture of what to expect." This is clearly a lie (and they do exactly what they accuse others of doing) or they are laughably incompetent at analyzing reality. Update 6 Feb: I just received notification that this review may come down. Convenient that they waited long enough that the deleted emails from this company are no longer in my trash. Hopefully this stays up so others are aware of their business practices.

Wouldn’t recommend!! Just Fraud!! Comunicación was excellent at the beginning , Daniel Jones responded every single text and when my husband made the finals agreements and paid the deposit ( $100). The final delivery amount increase. $900 more !!!!

Signed a contract for an ENCLOSED trailer and then Smart Carship LLC shipped on an OPEN trailer which was also loaded incorrectly, and so therefore vehicle incurred major damage. Additionally, they contracted with a carrier under a known operating suspension (out-of-service order) from FMCSA. So the carrier was operating illegally. In the beginning they told me all damages would be covered, don't worry about anything. Now, I have been unable to collect any insurance from either Smart Carship LLC or the carrier and they aren't returning my calls or emails. So much fraud and negligence involved with this transaction that it appears legal action is the next step. Edited- Further investigation on USDOT website shows that the carrier hired by Smart Carship LLC (Global Trans Group Inc.) does NOT have insurance in place. Edited- Update: STILL NO INSURANCE PAYMENT Edited- Still not returning calls and emails. Still no insurance payment. Contacted a lawyer today....appears to be the only option. Avoid this company ! Edited- Still NO responses to phone calls or emails.
