Safety First
While I was driving, I accidentally hit a car that was parked and broke its mirror. I wanted to take responsibility for my action, but I was afraid to leave a note with my personal phone number. I had no way of knowing who was going to read the note, I did not know if the person could use my phone number to get my information and maybe even go to my house or hurt me in any way. I had no way of knowing if the owner of that car was a person with any violent tendencies. So, I left a note providing my SLYNUMBER and I could safely and confidently communicate with the stranger, I was able to assume my responsibility without incurring in any safetyrisk. I am extremely grateful for the option of communicating with someone I don’t really know without having fear that they might access personal information that I want to keep confidential.
