Slick Woody's Cornhole Co.Reviews of slickwoodys.com

Overall, I was satisfied with the product to give as a gift. I was disappointed on the day of opening because I noticed there were two corners of the boards that appeared to be damaged with a rippled effect in the lamination. Not sure if the damage was due to the packaging it came in with shipping or the quality of the product. I will also add that I expected the top of the board to have a legit sealed wood effect, however, it looks like a laminated wood print. Also the item did not come in time for Christmas, no discount was offered.

The only reason I gave them 3 stars because I haven’t gotten my order yet because of there printer broke an that’s not really there fault but whenever I get my order I’ll most likely change my review after we test it out

The boards themselves are decent to play on. We have the premium boards and there is no bounce (which is great). The description clearly states the tops are made from Birch and they are very obviously construction grade plywood. The hole is also rounded and we're under the impression that they are supposed to be straight cut with barely sanded edges.

Very sloooooooooooo shipping... Still don't have product to evaluate ,hope it arrives by Christmas

The Slick Woodys boards look and feel like something homemade, unlike the boards I've purchased from the American Cornhole Association and AllCornhole which have a professional tournament feel.

I thought I was getting carry holes on the sides of my boards but did not. Perhaps the image that was portrayed on the design I chose was a higher "trim" option.. like this or that feature is only included on the all weather boards or other. The boards I got a nice, but not what I expected for the $$$. This business is close to my hometown of Akron so I decided to support them over other online offerings, and a friend recommended.. they didn't blow me out of the water.

Took longer than thought to ship and boards arrived damaged. Customer service gave a 10 percent refund or exchange. Quality of boards seems good. Hopefully I had a rare circumstance.

My husband and I chose to buy from Slick Woody’s because we wanted really good quality regulation cornhole boards. We were so excited to receive them but when we took them out of the box we were somewhat disappointed. The holes and edges of the top boards were very rough and needed to be sanded and the vinyl on the tops was very thin and did not slide that well so we needed to apply a few coats of polyurethane. Also, we found a couple of the screws were not completely fastened from the top to the side wood and the screws wouldn’t go any further so there are a couple of gaps. Hopefully gorilla glue with fix that. This certainly takes away from the integrity of the top boards. Also, we found that the boards jump a lot. These boards needed a lot of work out of the box. Considering what We paid for them, we expected a lot better quality, so we were disappointed with them but we can’t afford to buy another set. Hopefully, they will become better as we apply additional fixes. We’d have to say though, they do look nice.
