I love finding great deals on items that I need. I use Slickdeals at lease once a day. Thank you for all you do!

Thanks for the kind words, Johnnies Bakery!

Slickdeals used to be a great place to go and find deals that you may otherwise miss buy, lately, it seems Slickdeals has really become Shilldeals. Staff often push 3rd party sellers to the point that the same seller could be promoted 8-9 times in just a few hours, and we are talking about the same 3rd party sellers that Slickdeals staff specifically state goes against their rules (unless it's staff posted of course). New "staff" gain incredible reputation within the space of a week, Frontpage Deals are often put there with inflated votes from SD staff and moderators. As I said in the beginning, Slickdeals is no more. Welcome to Shilldeals, where staff and moderators are worse than your cheesy car lot salesmen, and get away with anything they want to regardless of the rules for others.

Hi Matthew, We don't allow merchants to pay to have deals posted. That said, we do look at deals merchants send to us and if they are deals we think members would really like we will post them. We also turn down lots and lots of deals as well as giving them (merchants) advice on how they can make the deal better so that it might be worthy of getting posted on Slickdeals.

I use this site a lot every day

Thanks for letting people know you enjoy Slickdeals. I am a Slickdeals addict and love getting in on super low prices.

Slickdeals was bought out by Goldman Sachs in June 2018, and it's been barely worth visiting since then. Most posts now are either made by Slickdeals employees, or else by members that get paid in one way or another, and only for stores that pay Slickdeals a cut (mainly Amazon), so posts to "hot deal" are rarely hot deals anymore.

Slickdeals is full of garbage now. The moderators/owners are greedy and unhelpful. Don’t post on slickdeals. They don’t deserve free info. Many of their “pros” work for the site and just post cheap amazon garbage for the affiliate percentage. Slick deals sucks.

Like others are saying, the moderators are narcissists as well as most users, I'll never post a deal again or comment to try to help others as they don't seem to like anyone outside of their circle.

Like others have said, I had an old account that I used very occasionally. Then logged in and got a notice that I was banned. No evidence that my account had been hacked or anything else. No recent posts or activity. Just, a ban with no information or response from the site admins as to why. Not a big deal, just strange, and perhaps representative of the site’s professionalism.
