One of the few companies that responded to our inquiry for a roof. They were cordial, professional, informative in every aspect of the project. Crew worked through unbearable heat to complete the job and made sure they cleaned after themselves. Ricardo answered every call and questions were always answered. I would recommend this company to all seeking a roof replacement. Great quality materials at a decent cost. Love the way our house looks. Thanks to Sky Light Roofing.

In having two estimates done, Starlight's cost, military discount and plywood panels offered was the better deal. Danny Haddock was very professional with numerous followups and kept myself and wife fully informed. I would recommend Starlight because of Danny and his entire crew.

This is the long version…. I was noticed mid-January that my homeowner’s insurance would not renew because the ‘company is reducing its overall exposure in this (my) area’. My roof was older than 15 years and I knew the new insurance would require a new roof. Promptly, 2 months later, I began my search. The first roofer I called came highly recommended, but two days of calls and leaving messages didn’t elicit even one response. The second call I made was to Sky Light Roofing (also a recommended referral). The receptionist said she would give my information to one of the estimators and he would call me back. Sure enough, I got a call from Brandon Barriga about 20 minutes later. He scheduled an inspection for Thursday (2 days later). He completed the inspection and said he would send over the estimate once he had finalized his calculations. I got the estimate by email on Monday (3/7/2022). My third call was to a roofer whose estimate was contingent on trying to get a claim from my outgoing insurance for hail damage that was in our area about a year ago. He had some luck with this and was sure the insurance would pay for the roof. Six weeks later and still no word from the insurance, big surprise. With no other estimates in hand, I asked Sky Light if they could do the job quickly as my insurance was going to drop me by May 15th. Brandon thought they could and would try to push through the permit processing. I signed the paperwork by 4/18/2022 and the (shingle) roof was started and completed on 5/6/2022. The original estimate is what I paid plus an additional $300 for more rotted wood than expected (as seen in pictures). I paid them 50% when the supplies were delivered to the house and the other 50% after the final inspection and the Certificate of Completion. Sky Light sent all the paperwork by email including a couple dozen photos from throughout the process. I don’t know what I was expecting, but this company was a pleasant surprise. Their representative, Brandon B., was responsive, respectful and always available when I had any questions. He made the entire process easy…. a quality asset. Did I mention that I did this entire process from out of town?
