If you are planning to go to one of their summer parties, dont! Booked beforehand for 20.45, was planning to spend an hour, but that hour was spend queuing. And when questioned, why we had to wait, they said, its very crowded inside. As if the crowd appeared magically, basically they overbooked to maximise their profit. And dont care about spoiling the night of their customers. Security and front desk are behaving as if we should be grateful to wait 40 minutes to a place where we paid 20£ a month ago!!! Clearly they dont know anything about customer service. Its shocking that they can do still business. Dont go, there is soo many nice places in London! Its not worth it.

If you're planning to go to Sky Garden don't. …
If you're planning to go to Sky Garden in London just to watch the sunset... dont bother! Waste of time and money.
We literally planned an entire day around getting there for the famous view and sunset.
The photos were only of dirty windows. You could not see the buildings let alone the sun. It definitely didn't live up to the hype.
We also misunderstood the ticket situation.
We thought entry was free (which it is), but didn't realise you need to book tickets weeks in advance.
When we arrived, we were told the only way we could get access was by spending £20 each at the restaurant across the road. We'd already eaten, but did it anyway because we'd travelled all that way.
So basically we spent around $100 AUD just to get inside... for a sunset that wasn't worth the effort.
Lesson learned: book early, manage your expectations or better still go somewhere else. The entire bait and switch to make us spend money wasn't good either.

Disappointing Sky Garden Visit: Extreme Heat and Closed Balconies
We had lunch at Larch, thinking it was at Sky Garden, because the course menu is marketed in a way that makes it seem like it is. It was partly our fault for not noticing the barely visible footnote saying that Larch is opposite Sky Garden, but that is not the main reason for my frustration.
Larch was actually in another building on the first floor. After lunch, we went to Sky Garden, but by the time we entered, it felt like it was around 40 degrees inside. Because of the greenhouse effect, it was extremely hot, with no air conditioning. More importantly, the balconies were closed. The whole point of going there was to be on the balcony and enjoy the views.
We asked a member of staff why the balconies were closed, and he said there was a fault with the doors. They could have simply left the doors open so everyone could enjoy the views and access the balcony, but he said the building managers had decided to keep them closed.
It was around 30 degrees outside in London and literally over 40 degrees inside Sky Garden. It is a shame that we spent that money expecting to access Sky Garden and enjoy the balcony, only to be stuck inside in unbearable heat with no balcony access.

Visited the Skygarden today
Visited the Skygarden today. Very rude lady working at the front security. Spoke to us in a very patronising and rude manner. She obviously thinks every one is a tourist and she can speak to them in a very rude way. She needs extra customer service training as she is representing front of house.

Darwin Brasserie
Darwin Brasserie- wanted this restaurant for window seats specifically for the view, as the photos online show a stunning panorama. In reality, the restaurant is set far away from the actual building windows, so even if you are seated “by the window,” all you see is the interior of the building and other people, with only a tiny glimpse of the so-called “beautiful view” we paid for.
The food portions are extremely small, the taste is nothing special, and the prices are outrageously high. There is very little variety on the menu, and we kept hearing “we don’t have this” or “we don’t have that.” The portions are absurdly small compared to the excessive prices.
Paying £120 for three people to eat very little food of poor quality in a cold environment — I had to keep my winter jacket on the entire time — is an absolute rip-off. This place is a complete scam. I will never return and will warn everyone I know to avoid it.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Avoid
⭐☆☆☆☆ Avoid — Disorganised and Disappointing Experience at Sky Garden via DesignMyNight
Booked tickets online through DesignMyNight for an evening at Sky Garden to celebrate a friend’s birthday — drinks, live music, and a good atmosphere. Everything seemed smooth until arrival.
Getting there on a Sunday evening was easy, but at security, the staff looked confused and told us to speak to reception. The receptionist checked our tickets (which were real — even saved in my Apple Wallet) and then informed us the event had been cancelled. No prior notice, no email, nothing. I was told we’d “get a refund” and to contact them via email if not — but we could still “go upstairs and look around.”
Since we were already dressed up for the occasion, we went upstairs anyway. The place was full of people there just for the view, with most tables and seats reserved. The concierge tried to help, saying we could “walk around” and maybe get a table in 45 minutes. We eventually got a drink — nice but overpriced — and soon realised the atmosphere was completely flat. Definitely not the kind of vibe you’d expect for a birthday celebration or what was advertised.
We let the concierge know we were leaving — honestly, the whole experience felt like a complete waste of time and money. To make things worse, no refund email ever came through, and there was no apology or goodwill gesture for the inconvenience.
For a venue and platform like this, I expected far better organisation, communication, and customer service. Sadly, it was a huge letdown.
⚠️ AVOID — not worth the hassle or disappointment.

False Advertising!
I bought a ticket with a glass of champagne to celebrate my husband’s 41st birthday on June 13.
When we go to the bar to request a glasses of champagne I asked for one regular and one rosé as he does prefer rosé.
Suddenly, I was surprised by the barman saying that it must be the regular one and not the rosé
It’s weird because in the ticket it is written a glass of champagne. It does not mention white or rosé.
So we got the regular champagne however it was warm at room temperature, which is unacceptable to drink a champagne either So this is an acceptable and very frustrating.
I do not recommend this place for any sort of celebration with drinks included and also please do a specify the type of champagne that you sell. This is unfair. I would expect a full refund for this.
