I am sorry your booking experience with Tours de Sport did not meet your expectations. In examining your reservation record, I found that your long weekend to Sunday River was booked 14 days prior to arrival. By late in February when your trip was booked, it was fairly evident what kind of season we were having, as you said yourself. While the willingness of the resort to allow a rescheduled visit may not be feasible for every traveler, it was at least presented as an option to visit on weekend when the weather might have been better. It appears that two previous trips to Sunday River that you planned with us were without incident, and I hope that you will consider reaching out to us again in the future. I am sorry that you felt your booking experience was not a good one and that you were unable to travel to Big Sky as planned. While we do offer discounted ski travel packages, we do not present ourselves as always being the least expensive option at any particular resort or property. If you want to book with one of the large online travel agencies, then yes, you might find a lower nightly rate or possibly less restrictive cancellation policy. What you will not get is great customer service, which the overwhelming majority of our customers feel we consistently provide. In examining your reservation record, I found that your vacation specialist was quick to respond to your multiple inquiries, and did in fact reduce your package price to match what was being offered by the resort's central reservation office. You cancelled your trip within three weeks of your arrival date, and paid cancellation penalties amounting to less than 15% of your total trip cost, which for ski resort travel is actually less than would normally be expected. Hi Bill, Thanks for your input. Glad that you enjoyed our service, but very sorry to hear about the issues you had while on your trip. We have addressed the issue the transportation company had with not dropping you off at the correct check-in location. As for including an on-site restaurant in the property description, that is all on us. We normally review our descriptions in the off-season for property upgrades, amenity changes/deletions, etc., and we somehow missed that Chez Betty had closed, not after the Olympics, but in April of 2013 at the end of that ski season. I am sure it was disappointing to not be able to dine "in" on a night or two of your four night stay. It's my understanding that your vacation specialist has reached out to you with our apologies and a discount on a future trip in hopes that we can re-earn your trust. Cecil Carver Director of Sales
