SkinnyRX is a SCAM
In my experience, SkinnyRx has been a complete waste of money and feels misleading at best. I paid for their GLP-1 program along with over 1,000 other customers, followed a strict calorie-deficit diet, exercised daily for at least 45 minutes, and consistently hit a minimum of 8,000 steps per day. Despite doing everything recommended—and more—I gained weight while on their program. SkinnyRx markets itself as offering “support,” but in reality, there was no meaningful medical guidance, coaching, or accountability. Communication was minimal, generic, and unhelpful. When results weren’t happening, there was no proactive follow-up, no adjustment support, and no real clinical oversight. The program feels transactional: you pay, you receive medication, and you’re largely on your own. That is not what is advertised, and it is not what people expect when paying for a medically supervised weight-loss service. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others to do extensive research before signing up. I regret trusting the claims made by SkinnyRx and do not believe the service delivers what it promises.

We're sorry you didn't have the results you were expecting, but we do want to address a few points. GLP-1 medications work differently for everyone—some patients need more time or dosage changes before they start seeing progress. That's why keeping an open line with your provider is so important. Our clinical team is ready to help with check-ins, adjustments, and troubleshooting whenever you need it, but we need to hear from you when something's not working so we can step in. We understand your frustration about communication. While our providers are available and ready to support you, it really does take both sides staying connected to make sure you're getting the care and adjustments you need. We're absolutely not in the business of sending out medication and going silent. We're proud of the program we've built and the success so many of our patients have experienced. If you'd like to revisit your situation or talk things through, we're happy to do that.
