SilverTowneReviews of silvertowne.com

Twice now on two separate occasions my orders have been canceled after my card has been charged. I believe someone looked at what I bought and decided it was too good of a deal and my orders got nixed.

I just got a fraud alert from my credit card company for a large charge from SilverTowne. I told them to decline the payment. This should NOT be happening with any company that deals in precious metals. Their controls MUST be strong enough to prevent abuse. However, they accepted somebody’s false representation of my card. This company needs to improve its fraud protection, especially if it wants to stay in this business. People are investing one of their more valuable assets (their money) with them.

This company sold me 2 rolls of coins and then, within a matter of hours, canceled the order saying that they were out of stock. I suspect they sold my order for more money. They took my payment immediately and now won't issue a refund. I have written to them but they don't reply. I WAS a repeat customer but no more. Luckily, I paid with my Amex card so I will get my money back. This is not a way to do business.
