I have ordered from Silver Cuisine/ istro MD for over five years and it gets worse every time. My latest delivery arrived with the box not sealed, and all the food room temperature as the dry ice had totally dissolved, there was no moisture in the box whatsoever. I emailed customer service because when you call no one ever answers and I never heard back from them. This used to be a good company to deal with and the food was worth what you paid but now I feel like I’m just throwing my money away as I can’t eat any of the meals received. This company has definitely gone downhill.

I started ordering from Silver Cuisine back in December 2024. My first shipment was delayed, and then when it finally arrived, it was missing an item. I contacted customer service, and they refunded the item. My second order was the final straw. I was given a delivery date. 4 days after that date had passed, I contacted customer service and was given a new delivery date (I never received any email about it - I had to reach out to them). After that date passed with no word from them, I reached out again and was told they were having delays and could not give me a new delivery date. So I canceled my order. Also, their website is clearly SUPPOSED to allow you to have multiple SHIP-TO addresses, for people that want to send meals to their elderly relatives. However, customer service acknowledged that those buttons do nothing / it doesn't work, and you have to update your shipping address in your account for every order, if you want to send meals to more than one address. I am taking my business elsewhere.

Order not delivered. Phone calls not answered. Emails not answered. It is terrible!

I have placed two orders (over $200 worth) and having a great deal of problems with this company. It’s nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get in communication with customer service and then when someone finally wrote I was told that they had moved their fulfillment center and the deliveries could not be processed because of unforeseen issues. They said they would refund me (which I have not yet received!) I made a second order and it still had not been processed. I’ve called multiple times, left a callback number and written to them. I am still awaiting any response. This company is worthless in my opinion and leaves much to be desired. I don’t have any idea how they even can remain in business with their very incompetent service. If you want a RELIABLE and good food service with very good customer service, order from TopChefMeals. I have placed several orders with them am an very happy with their food and delivery (quite the opposite of SilverCuisine)!

Terrible customer service. They e-mailed that the food was on the way. They took the money from my account. Then they sent another E-mail saying that the meals would not arrive until the end of the next week. Since I would not be at home at the end of the next week I called the number for customer service 3 times, staying on the line for 30 minutes each time and all I received was a message that repeated about 50 times. I emailed and all I received was a canned message that did not tell me anything. AS FAR AS I AN CONCERNED THEY STOLE MY MONEY AND THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN.

I'm disappointed to say that while my husband and i enjoyed many meals from Bistro MD then Silver Cuisine, we were unpleasantly surprised with a recent delivery and poor customer service. One of the many deliveries we received the quality of the meals was terrible. I was away and my husband was relying on the meals during my absence. He said they tasted so bad he had to throw them out and even found some plastic in one meal. Knowing that without the information from the packaging or a photo of the meals, their response would be limited but I felt we should let them know about our experience. In my email, i acknowledged that we did not have the pertinent information to provide but wanted to let them know the experience of a steady, 2 year customer. What i received back was an email touting how providing a quality product is very important to them: "We are proud to serve the same quality, natural food we eat at our own dinner table. We ship hundreds of thousands of healthy and delicious meals each month and have been for the past 17 years. This is not a usual occurrence with our meals. As a company built on the foundation of integrity, we take quality control and food safety very seriously. Our meals are inspected through multiple check points to ensure we serve only the highest quality foods." They then asked for information on that shipment which proves they just sent me a canned response and did not even read my email. I followed up reiterating my concerns but they chose to provide no further communication. Needless to say, we are now former customers.

Todd was extremely patient in correcting an error on my latest order. His follow-up was top notch.

Excellent customer service (Emily) helped me with my tracking number. Always good selection of foods! I’ve been a faithful customer for over 3 years. No complaints here. If I do run into a shipping issue. Silver Cuisine will make it right. I’d give them 10 stars! Will continue to order as long as I can afford it Thanks again Emily!
