I gave Silverado 5 stars because everyone I have met at the facility truly cares about their residents. I also gave them high marks because the Director of the facility met with me to understand My wife's and my story and she has stayed involved in all facets of my wife's care from the pre-move in to the present day 17 months after move in. All the staff truly get to know all the residents and they truly care about each one. Something I did not see at other facilities I visited. Also, my wife’s condition has changed several times since she moved in. Each time the staff helped create a comprehensive individual plan just for her. They also brought in appropriate outside resources that were specific to my wife’s condition. I feel that at Silverado you get a customized and comprehensive individual plan for your loved one the covers everything from medical treatments, to socialization and stimulation activities, to dining needs, to sleep needs. I feel more secure and I really feel like part of a big family at Silverado.

Silverado’s entire team of caregivers, staff and managers are amazing. They are engaged with our dad and all of the other residents. We feel lucky to have chosen this facility. Thank you and bless you for everything you do!

Dementia is a very cruel disease and we are so grateful to have the staff at Silverado in our corner. Not only do I have confidence that Dad is being well taken care of, I have found a group of friends to navigate this journey with. Silverado staff are so knowledgable and supportive. They really care!

Two amazing experiences that put Silverado in a 5 star ranking are: The well trained staff! They learned how to effectively communicate with residents to calm, respect, and give them dignity. This is true of all staff; dietary, laundry, housekeeping, caregivers, grounds, maintenance, front desk, administrators, everyone at Silverado! The second advantage that is almost impossible to find anywhere else is the residents' ability to open the door and walk outside to be in the stunningly beautiful and secure grounds. The grounds include majestic Redwood trees, flower gardens, benches, resident dogs, chickens. The residents can safely wander through the grounds and benefit from being outside in nature, get exercise and breathe fresh air. I will always be grateful for the loving care our Silverado "family" gave my husband.

My mother was transferred to Silverado directly from the hospital.... The Silverado Team was instrumental in her continuous improvement in her care at Silverado. My mothers situation was very complicated because she not only suffered from alzheimers disease, but also severe vascular disease...Her situation and prognosis was 6 months.. With the Silverado hospice nurses & supporting team her vascular disease is under control & she is in a much better place health wise...Between the nurses, and doctors & caregivers we were able to get mom on the right medications & she is now in a happy & safe environment due to the consistent efforts of the Silverado Team. My family including myself is grateful to everyone at Silverado for the love and care shown to my mom.

Silverado In Illinois is the best. My mom was there for five years and had outstanding treatment. Marcia Kravetz the Director of Nursing is great to work with and made sure My mom had wonderful care.

Both my parents live at Silverado. They have an amazingly supportive staff! They truly care about my parents so I feel very comfortable trusting them to give my parents the very best care. We love the pets and homey environment. We were truly blessed when we discovered Silverado.❤️
