Somehow they got my wife’s personal information and the CC number. Charged her card for $20. Disputed the transaction and filed police report. Now they are mailing us asking to renew their membership.

Never heard of Sierra club until I saw bank transactions. They started with $1 transactions then went on to $20. They are scammers. Have no idea how they got my credit card to make these transactions. Caught it quickly and cancelled my card. I advise anyone who has this same issue call your bank and REPORT IT IMMEDIATELY. They’ll try to charge your card everyday.

Tried to claim they were Netflix by stating my account was on hold.

I received a package and a thank you card from them for a donation. Before this I had never heard about them. Went to my bank and did a stop payment and canceled my card. Don't know how they scammed me but they did. I do not and will not trust this group. Be careful.

Somehow got my credit card info, literally would never support a company like this. Continually trying to pull $20 a week from the card. Like really you're trying to use my card and you pulling $20 from it? Try an make it less obvious scammers.

Although I like their pro-nature cause, they send a RIDICULOUS amount of SPAM. This time I am sending them my babies soiled diaper - to deal with that conservancy - good luck. Even worse, after several attempts to unsubscribe both electronically OR by snail-mail (I even sent them my weekly spam to taste how it feels) - I still get more cute animal picture to try emotionally black mail me.

We get non-stop robocalls - they stalk us. We used to give, and stopped for that reason.

Member since 2009 till I got a very políticos and divisive message about the mayoral election in Chicago. They spend a lot of effort on divisive politics. That was not my interest. They didn’t care about my feedback at all. They are not an inclusive organization. There are better organizations that champion the environment that don’t force politics on you. I was stunned by the claims in the message - about racism. They could have endorsed someone but it didn’t need to go there. I have canceled my membership and been removed from their mailing list. I don’t recommend them. I’m very disappointed as I was a member from 2009 to 2023. I never got a letter like that before. Poor judgment.
