The delivery of the two display cases I ordered went well--not particularly quickly, but I wasn't in a real hurry. We started the assembly of the cases with four people who aren't very experienced in such projects, but we had our tools and we were able to follow the directions fairly well. The problem came when we had to figure out how to get the doors in the case. We were stymied. As we were unable to figure out how to complete the job, we had to call in someone more experienced to help us out. He was able to see, upon quick inspection, that the front and back were reversed. Because of this, we had to disassemble both cabinets in order to turn them around. While doing that, we realized that the mistake wasn't ours, as the predrilled holes had been put on the wrong side of the cabinets, and that's why we had put the brackets on the wrong side. As a result, we had to drill new holes for the vertical brackets for holding the shelves. Once this was accomplished, we were able to successfully complete the assembly and install the cabinet doors. I hated to see that happen, as I know that is a common complaint about furniture that needs to be assembled by the purchaser: something is usually wrong. I was really hoping that wouldn't be the case. I was disappointed, but fortunate that we knew someone who could help us figure it out.
