Hi EH, Thank you for your review and your feedback. At Shopper Approved, we collect only verified customer-generated reviews, on behalf of our online merchants. The reason why you're seeing so many positive reviews for sites that are using Shopper Approved is that we actively request reviews from 100% of customers. Our average review request conversion rate of 30% gives our merchants more reviews from their customers than any other review request tool, often 8x more. These higher numbers of reviews result in better overall review scores or ratings because statistically, most customers are happy. In addition to this, the negative reviews you generally see on other review sites are due to their open-source, or "passive," way of collecting reviews. On these other review sites, anyone who is upset--verified customer or not--can leave a review about a company on these sites. And typically when a consumer is upset, they will leave negative reviews on several open review platforms, driving up the percentage of negative reviews on these sites. This leads to fewer reviews collected on these platforms, a higher percentage of negative reviews, and the potential for anyone to post content there--including a company's competitor. So generally, these types of sites do not provide an accurate reflection of the company. Also, our platform does not allow for manipulation of reviews by the companies that collect them. For these three reasons (only verified customer reviews are collected, reviews are collected from every customer, not just the happy or just the unhappy, and reviews cannot be manipulated) we are the most trusted review collection service offered today. And for these reasons, we believe that our platform allows for the most balanced and accurate view of a company or product. And this makes sense, because if a company really did perform as poorly as you would think based on the reviews collected on those open-source platforms, how in the world could they stay in business? In the full survey that you receive via email after you receive your order, there are questions specifically about your customer experience, and you can rate anywhere from 1-5 stars. All of our surveys are based on a 1-5 star scale, so whatever our clients customers select is what is saved and displayed. We are very transparent about reviews, and we never incentivize or artificially inflate reviews.
