Hi Oliver, I definitely understand your frustration, but I assure you that the reviews you see from Shopper Approved are accurate. As you can see on Android Enjoyed's certificate, there are nearly 1,500 reviews for this company ranging from 1 star to 5 stars, with the average being 4.4 stars. Each client receives two opportunities to rate and review each company - one right after they purchase (to provide feedback on their initial shopping experience), and then one after they get their product (to review their product and overall experience) - this second survey is usually time based, so if you completed the initial survey, you should get a full survey email. The reason why our review average is higher is because, unlike other review companies, we collect active reviews from every customer that buys, whereas other review companies collect passive reviews from anyone who feels like leaving a review (typically passive reviews are more negatively skewed). Active reviews are much more accurate because everyone gets an equal opportunity to leave a review, good or bad. Hi Ian, We've looked into you account, and it looks like you signed up through one of our partners on a trial basis back in April. As is standard procedure with most online services, once a trial ends, the billing system automatically charges the card on file. Regarding your account, that is the only charge we ever made, which we've gladly refunded in full at your request. We would never want you to pay for a service that you aren't using, which is one of the reasons why, unlike most rating and review companies, we never ask our clients to sign long-term contracts. At Shopper Approved, we are unique in that we give our clients customer's the ability to provide feedback twice in the buying cycle - once right after they buy (to get initial feedback on their initial shopping experience), and then once 1-2 weeks later after they receive their product or service (to get the full feedback on their entire shopping experience). We feel that this two-step approach gives consumers the most accurate picture possible when looking at ratings and reviews before making purchasing decisions. In the follow up 'Delivery Confirmation' email you received, there is a direct link to the full survey. Typically, consumers fill this out once they have their product or service in hand, but in rare cases when customers don't receive their orders, we advise them to either contact the company first for an update, or to wait to complete the full survey until their product is delivered. In your case, if you still haven't received the product, you can still complete the full survey by clicking on the link in the 'Delivery Confirmation' email. This initial survey is used to gather feedback about our clients customer's shopping experience up to that point. Then, once your product is delivered, you would typically receive an email with a link to a full survey that allows you to rate your overall experience, including your product satisfaction, delivery time, price, customer service, etc. In your particular case, since you ordered the wrong product and cancelled it, that may have been the reason why you didn't receive a full survey.
