Shopbase need more apps in their store

I joined their international community group recently which they have changed the name from Shopbase International Community to Dropshipping Zone. I don't know why. Sounds really strange why a business would do that unless something was wrong in the first place. And in their Facebook group I discovered fake Facebook accounts and it seems many of them are from Vietnam and yet their address on their website is in California. Their California address is also shared with hundreds of online stores and some other odd businesses. How weird is that! I even googled that address and you can see tons of online stores using that same address for their probably fake online stores. I checked some of those online stores on BBB and you can see they also have poor ratings of 1 star and others look really shady. For example, Bearsumo.com on BBB. Cmon now, let's truly be honest here. Operating out of Vietnam with a US address? Just look at all the 5 star reviews here that are all from Vietnam. Probably some are fake reviews. This is just dishonest. Even in their Facebook groups they lure users to sign up that show that their stores have extremely high revenue. Shame on you. When I know darn well from using Shopify's platform for a long time, that that kind of revenue is difficult to achieve without paying tons of money in advertisement and marketing. And to be frank, that is dishonest marketing because they don't show you the cost to get that kind of revenue. And people end up losing their money to a platform that suggests this which adds false hopes to innocent people who are trying hard to make a living but instead they take your money. Shopify or other platforms will never market this way. Making people sign up through dishonest marketing techniques while taking people's hard earned money doesn't sound like a platform you can trust. Also having a fake residential address in the United States seems to show the lack of transparency of this company. There are many other platforms that are more honest and transparent. Stay far away from this one. Someone should definitely put a stop to companies like these that are really hurting and stealing from decent honest businesses and innocent people.

shopbase.com might be based in Vietnam or/and in China from my guessing based on their support team and reddit posts. I also found they have several clues they are based in China since on reddit they are using simplifed Chinese to promote their site, outside of the united states is for sure. The reason we came to know this platform is that several websites hosted there were in DMCA violations and copyright infringement, they had/have products from many business and they are usually under the market value, a suspicious of the new online shopping scam. I am not sure if they are hosting those violators to attack US business or what. We reported those violators to them, at first they took several days to take down since they have to investigate. And after they shut down the store of the violator, someone else used the same product feed with the same url rewrite to create another store on here. And we have reported to them. They have tried to shutdown those stores but it took them several days to investigate before they can shutdown the store. The violator(s) have used the same product feed easily creating the site again and again with the same unicode symbol character in their product content in violation of DMCA and copyrights. By the time they shutdown those sites, the violators have already been advertising on google shopping advertising or crawled on google in interfering legit businesses. Even they have taken down the site, they also leave out the sitemap.xml up there. They said they could not remove those sitemap xml files, which is a red flag. Oh well, it is a pain to deal with violators hosted on their site. Personally if a service provider is unable to stop violators in a timely method, and can not find the clues of identical scams or frauds, we will just stay away from it ourselves. *we also signed up their trial, beautiful interface, easy to use, they just need to be more selective on whom can sign up their services with more identity verification and site review before they can open the store to the public.

Hosts SCAM websites. AVOID shopbase if you don't wanna lose your hard earned money.
